«Մալաթիա մոլ»-ում հրդեհը շարունակվում է, ԱԻՆ-ը լրացուցիչ ուժեր է տանում դեպքի վայր:
Դեպքի վայրում շարունակում է մնալ ոստիկանապետը, այցելել է նաև ԱԻ նապարար Ֆելիքս Ցոլակյանը, տեղում հերթապահություն են իրականացնում շտապօգնության բրիկադները:

Դեպքի վայրում ծառայություն իրականացնող ԱԻՆ պաշտոնյան նշեց, որ այս պահի դրությամբ մայրաքաղաքի բոլոր հրշեջ փրկարարական ջոկատներում առկա տեխնիկական միջոցները ներգրավված են հրդեհաշիջման աշխատանքներին:

 

«Սա նման չէ այլ հրդեհաշիջման աշխատանքներին, բաց է տարածքը, օդի ներթափանցման արդյունքում մեծ քանակությամբ փայտանյութ կա այրվող, բացի այդ նաև էլեկտրական տեխնիկա ու մի քանի հարկերում խորացված հատվածներ են: Թե ինչից է բռնկվել հրդեհը , չեմ կարող ասել: Մեկուսացման վերաբերյալ նորություն չկա, հրդեհն ինտենսիվ տարածվում է, բայց տղաներն աշխատում են, հրդեհը զարգացել է նկուղային մասում»,-ասաց ԱԻՆ պաշտոնյան:
Նրա խոսքով՝ այս պահին բոլոր հրշեջ փրկարաններն աշխատում են ապարատների միջոցով շնչելու համար ոչ պիտանի տեղամասերում, պայթյունավտանգ նյութեր չկան: 
Թե որքան մակերես է այրվել, ԱԻՆ պաշտոնյան չկարողացավ ասել.«Հսկայական մակերես է, թվերով այս պահին չեմ կարող ասել, ամեն մի տեղամասը միայն 800 քմ է: Տեղամասեր կան, որ արդյունավետ մեկուսացման են գնում»:
Հիշեցենք, որ օգոստոսի 24-ին, ժամը 15:47-ին «911» ծառայությանն ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ Երևան քաղաքի Սեբաստիա փողոցում գտնվող «Մալաթիա մոլ»-ի շենքում հրդեհ է բռնկվել, կան տուժածներ:
ԱԻՆ պաշտոնական կայքը հայտնել էր, որ ժամը 16:35-ին հրդեհի բարդության աստիճանը բարձրացվել է «Թիվ 3» կանչի:
