Գյումրիում պարգեւատրվել են այն զինծառայողներն, ովքեր, ավարտելով պարտադիր զինվորական ծառայությունը, վերադարձել են հայրենի քաղաք: Միջոցառմանը ներկա էին Շիրակի փոխմարզպետն ու  Գյումրու փոխքաղաքապետը, ինչպես նաև Շիրակի մարզի մյուս համայնքների ղեկավարները, զինվորականներ, ծնողներ:

 

 

 

 Գյումրու զինվորական կոմիսար Գագիկ Խաչատրյանը, ողջունելով ներկաներին, իր երախտիքի խոսքը հղեց զինծառայողներին, հայրենիքի սահմանների պաշտպանության գործում անմնացորդ նվիրումի համար: Հայրենիքի պաշտպանության պատվաբեր գործում անմնացորդ նվիրումի, ծառայողական պարտականությունները բարեխիղճ և ժամանակին կատարելու և գյումրեցու հայրենասիրական ոգին ծառայության ընթացքում լավագույնս դրսևորելու համար տղաները պարգևատրվեցին Գյումրու քաղաքապետի պատվոգրով: Գյումրու զինվորական կոմիսար Գագիկ Խաչատրյանը ևս պատվոգրեր հանձնեց զինվորական ծառայության ընթացքում աչքի ընկած մի խումբ տղաների: Մարզի մյուս համայնքների ղեկավարներն էլ իրենց կողմից էին նվերներ պատրաստել իրենց համայնքի բնակիչներին: Պատվոգրեր ստացան նաև դպրոցների զինղեկներն  ու  համայնքի ղեկավարները:

 

«Պատմության ընթացքում հայ ժողովրդի անվտանգության և ֆիզիկական գոյության գլխավոր երաշխավորը մշտապես եղել է հայկական բանակը: Անկախ ծառայության տեսակից, զինծառայողը բանակում հմտություն ու փորձ է ձեռք բերում, դառնում ավելի կազմակերպված ու կարգապահ մարդ, հայրենասեր: Ես շնորհակալ եմ ձեզ, ի դեմս ձեզ՝ հազարավոր հայ զինվորներին, ովքեր պատվով են կատարել իրենց այս պարտքը: Ես ցանկանում եմ բարի ծառայություն մաղթել նաև այս պահին ծառայության մեջ գտնվող բոլոր զինվորներին»,- նշեց Շիրակի մարզպետի տեղակալ Վարդան Գրիգորյանը:
