Ամուլսարի հիմնախնդիրը, կարծես թե, յուրօրինակ սահմանագծի կարգավիճակ է ստացել։ Երեկ վարչապետ Փաշինյանն ի վերջո անցավ այդ սահմանագիծը՝ անցյալում թողնելով հեղափոխական պատրանքներն ու հանրային ակնկալիքները։ Այսպիսով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի կառավարումը պայմանականորեն կարելի է բաժանել երկու շրջափուլի՝ մինչև Ամուլսարի հանքի մասին դիրքորոշում հայտնելն ու դրանից հետո:

Հետաքրքրականն այն է, որ վարչապետը հանուն այդ հիմնախնդրի հսկայական զոհաբերության գնաց՝ խաղասեղանին դնելով իր քաղաքական կապիտալն ու հանրային վստահությունը։ Նույնիսկ բազմաթիվ սխալների առկայությամբ նախկինում նա շարունակում էր պահպանել հեղափոխական խորհրդանիշի իր կարգավիճակը, ինչը նրան որոշակի անձեռնմխելիության կարգավիճակ էր շնորհում։ Իսկ հիմա կարգավիճակն այդ մասամբ կարելի է մսխված համարել և Փաշինյանն այլևս սովորական կառավարիչ է, որին քաղաքացիները թիրախավորելու են այն նույն տրամաբանությամբ, ինչ նախկիններին։

Ասվածի համատեքստում տրամաբանական հարց է առաջանում․ մի՞թե արժեր հանուն Ամուլսարի այսպիսի զոհաբերության գնալ։ Մի՞թե կարելի էր այդքան շուտ մսխել քաղաքական կապիտալն ու վստահությունը։

Խնդիրը միայն Փաշինյանի անձի հետ չէ կապված։ Բանն այն է, որ իրադարձությունների նմանատիպ զարգացումը խաչ քաշեց նաև հանրային համերաշխության գաղափարի վրա, քանի որ վարչապետի վիճահարույց ու կարճաժամկետ դիրքորոշումը երկարաժամկետ կոնֆլիկտի սաղմեր է տեղադրում։ Հեղափոխությունից հետո նա հանրային դաշինք ստեղծելու իրական հնարավորություն էր ստացել, բայց ցավոք սրտի դաշինքն այդ ժամանակավոր էր ու անհեռանկար։

Եթե փորձենք վերլուծել կառավարության վերջին մեկ տարվա գործունեության առանձնահատկությունները, ապա կանգ կառնենք երկու հիմնական մոտեցումների վրա, որոնք են՝ կարճաժամկետ որոշումների կայացում և վիճակագրական մանիպուլյացիա։ Ամուլսարն ահա այս երկու մոտեցումների հետևանքն է, որը մերկացնում է կառավորղ թիմի գաղափարական սնանկությունն ու ճիշտ որոշումներ կայացնելու անկարողությունը։

Շատերը չեն կարողանում պատկերացնել իրավիճակի լրջությունը, բայց փաստն այն է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ինքն իր ոտքերի տակ ական տեղադրեց, որը ամեն պահ կարող է պայթել։ Իսկ դա այնքան վտանգավոր է, որ նույնիսկ նախկին ռեժիմի և ռեևանշիստների դեմ ուղղված պայքարը այլևս չի ապահովելու այն հանրային կոնսոլիդացիան, որը անցյալում կար։

Իրավիճակն այս հասկանալի կլիներ վարչապետի պաշտոնավարման ավարտի ժամանակ, բայց վարչապետ դառնալուց ընդամենը մեկ տարի անց վարկանիշի ու վստահության մսխումը պարզապես արկածախնդրություն է։ Չէ՞ որ իշխանության այլընտրանքի բացակայության պայմաններում լեգիտիմ կառավարության լեգիտիմության աստիճանական փոշիացումը կարող է վերստին պարարտ հող նախապատրաստել ավտորիտարիզմի տարածման համար։ Այսպիսով վարչապետը երեկ թույլ տվեց իր պաշտնովարման ընթացքի ամենակոպիտ սխալը, ինչի հետևանքները կարող են չափազանց ծանր լինել։
