Գյուլենի շարժումը ապօրինի նվիրատվություն է արել ամերիկացի բազմաթիվ թեկնածուների, այդ թվում` Օբամային եւ Քլինթոնին

Թուրք գործիչ Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի կրոնական շարժումը, որը մեղադրվում է ամերիկացի կոնգրեսականների արտասահմանյան ճանապարհորդությունները ապօրինի ֆինանսավորելու համար, հնարավոր է՝ ներգրավված լինի նաեւ մեկ այլ սկանդալում՝ վերջին 7 տարիների ընթացքում ԱՄՆ-ում կոնգրեսականի եւ նախագահի թեկնածուներին նախընտրական քարոզարշավներին հարյուր հազարավոր դոլարների ապօրինի նվիրատվությունների առնչությամբ: Նման փաստեր է ձեռք բերել USA Today պարբերականը՝ անցկացրած հետաքննության արդյունքում:
Պարբերականի լրագրողները գտել են տասնյակ խոշոր նվիրատվություններ, որոնք կատարել են համեստ եկամուտներով մարդիկ, ոմանք՝ պատկերացում չունենալով, թե ում են նվիրատվություն անում: Ըստ պարբերականի՝ բոլոր դոնորները կապեր ունեն Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի հիմնադրած կրոնական շարժման հետ:
Ավելի վաղ նույն պարբերականը տեղեկություն էր հրապարակել այն մասին, որ շարժումը գաղտնի կերպով ֆինանսավորել է ամերիկացի կոնգրեսականների ավելի քան 200 արտասահմանյան ուղեւորությունները:
USA Today-ի բացահայտումներից հետո սենատոր Քելլի Այոտը սկանդալից հեռու մնալու նպատակով կասկածելի դոնորներին է վերադարձել նախընտրական քարոզարշավի ընթացքում ստացած ավել քան 43 հազար դոլարի նվիրատվությունը, նաեւ կոչ է արել նույն դոնորներից գումարներ ստացած մյուս թեկնածուներին՝ այդ թվում նախագահ Օբամային ու Հիլարի Քլինթոնին, նույնպես վերադարձնել այդ գումարները:
USA Today-ը հարցում է անցկացրել Այոտի օգտին նվիրատվություն իրականացրած անձանց շրջանում, որոնցից մի քանիսը նույնիսկ տեղյակ չեն եղել, որ սենատորը կին է:
Մի մասի գտնվելու վայրը անհայտ է: Դոնորների մի մասը, ըստ պարբերականի, Գյուլենի հիմնադրամի հետ կապվող դպրոցների կամ շահույթ չհետապնդող կազմակերպությունների աշխատակիցներ են: Լրագրողները պարզել են նաեւ, որ նրանք իրենց սոցիալական կայքերում ակտիվորեն կիսվում են այսպես կոչված գյուլենիստական նյութերով եւ նշում չափավոր իսլամական շարժման կազմակերպած միջոցառումներին մասնակցելու մասին:
Ըստ պարբերականի՝ կասկածելի նվիրատվություններ արվել են եւ հանրապետականներին, եւ դեմոկրատներին: Տեխասից կոնգրեսական Հենրի Քյուլարի նախընտրական ֆոնդին, օրինակ, 2013թ. խոշոր գումարներ են նվիրաբերել դպրոցի համեստ աշխատավարձով ուսուցիչը, ինչպես նաեւ ամերիկյան թուրքերի կազմակերպության փոխնախագահը, որը եղել է 2013թ. կոնգրեսականների Ադրբեջան ուղեւորության գլխավոր հովանավորը: Հիշեցնենք, որ հետաքննությունը ցույց էր տվել, որ այդ ուղեւորությունը գաղտնի կերպով ֆինանսավորել է ադրբեջանական նավթային ընկերությունը:
