«Նախ ուզում եմ շնորհակալություն հայտնել Արամի ձերբակալության անմեղսունակ քայլի առիթով ձեր հարյուրավոր զանգերի, նամակների եւ գրառումների համար։ Առանձնահատուկ շնորհակալ եմ իրենց կարծիքը եւ վերաբերմունքը հրապարակավ հայտնողներին՝ անկախ մեր ունեցած հարաբերություններից եւ քաղաքական հայացքներից։
Ով էլ Արամի հետ ճամփա է ընկել, հաց կիսել, իրեն տան ճանապարհը բացատրել, ջերմ եղել, իսկ այսօր այս խայտառակությունը չտենալու է տվել, լռել ու ջայլամի պես գլուխը մտցրել Երեւանի փողոցների գարշահոտաղբակույտի մեջ, Աստված ձեզ դատավոր։
Մի բան ակնհայտ է. ինձ լռեցնելու անհեթեթ փորձը տապալվեց Արամի ազատազրկման գնով։
Ու կարող եմ վստահ ասեմ, որ Արամը այն մարդն է, որ ամեն գնով կպայքարի իմ, ձեր ու բոլորիդ ազատ ապրելու համար՝ նույնիսկ այս գնով։
Անգամ Բաքվում, որտեղ ինքնակամ ինձ էր ուղեկցում, նա ամուր էր կանգնած ոտքերի վրա, իր Հայրենիքում հարուրապատիկ ամուր է լինելու։
Առաջին իսկ օրվանից, հատկապես, ՀՔԾ-ի պրիմիտիվ շարադրությունից հետո շատերին պարզ դարձավ, որ Արամի ձերբակալությունը բացառապես քաղաքական հիմքեր ունի։
Դատեք ինքներդ։ Եթե Արամը չլիներ իմ ընկերն ու օգնականը, արդյո՞ք այս գործը ընդհանրապես կծնվեր։ Եթե անգամ 1% հավանականությամբ այո, արդյո՞ք ֆինանսական փոխհատուցումից հետո այն շարունակություն կունենար։ Եթե էլի 0.0001 % այո, ապա արդյո՞ք Արամը կձերբակալվեր։ Իհարկե, ոչ։
Փաստաբան Տիգրան Աթանեսյանն արդեն բողոքարկել է ձերբակալման որոշումը եւ այսօր ժամը 6-ին դատարանը պետք է որոշի, թե երկրից փախնելու անհեթեթ պատրվակով ազատազրկված Արամը մնու՞մ է անազատության մեջ, այն դեպքում, երբ շատ լավ իմանալով հետապնդման սպառնալիքի մասին, ձերբակալությունից մի օր առաջ իր տիկնոջ եւ զավակի հետ վերադարձել է Վրաստանից։
Հա, իդեպ։ Եթե այս ամենը իմ դեմ չէ, բա հարց չտա՞նք երկրի հետ սեփական մորուքի նման խաղացող զբոսավարին, թե նախկին նախարարի վարորդի կամ օգնականի գործը ինչու՞ է քննում տխրահռչակ ՀՔԾ-ն, ոչ թե Քննչական Կոմիտեն, որտեղ այն ի սկզբանե հարուցված է եղել»:
