Սան Ֆրանցիսկոյի օպերան չեղարկել է ոտնձգություններում մեղադրվող Դոմինգոյի մասնակցությամբ համերգը
CULTUREՍան Ֆրանցիսկոյի օպերային թատրոնը չեղարկել է հոկտեմբերի 6-ին իսպանացի տենոր Պլասիդո Դոմինգոյի մասնակցությամբ համերգը ՝ նրա դեմ ոտնձգությունների մասին ներկայացված մեղադրանքներից հետո: Համապատասխան հայտարարությունը հրապարակվել է երեքշաբթի օպերայի կայքում, հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
«Համերգի չեղարկման մասին որոշումն ընդունվել է սեքսուալ ոտնձգությունների մասին վերջերս հնչած բազմաթիվ մեղադրանքներից հետո: Թեեւ նշված դեպքերը տեղի չեն ունեցել Սան Ֆրանցիսկոյի օպերայում, ընկերությունը չի կարող այդ արտիստին ներկայացնել Ռազմական հուշահամալիրային օպերային թատրոնի բեմում», - նշվում է հայտարարությունում:
Ավելի վաղ Ֆիլադելֆիայի Սիմֆոնիկ նվագախումբը հետ էր կանչել սեպտեմբերի 18-ին նախատեսված համերգի մասնակցության հրավերը:
8 երգիչներ եւ մեկ պարուհի Associated Press-ին (AP) ասել էին, որ իրենք սկսած 80-ականներից տարբեր ժամանակաշրջաններում Դոմինգոյի կողմից սեռական ոտնձգությունների են ենթարկվել: Երեք կանայք ասել են, որ Դոմինգոն փորձել է համբուրել իրենց: Զրուցակիցներից մեկը պնդում է, որ երգիչը ձեռքը կիսաշրջազգեստի տակ է մտցրել: Նշված դեպքերն իբրեւ թե տեղի են ունեցել նաեւ ԱՄՆ տարածքում:
Երկուշաբթի AP-ում հրապարակված նյութւոմ մոտ 30 երգչուհիներ, պարողներ, երաժիշտներ եւ թատրոնի այլ աշխատակցիներ ասել են, որ Դոմինգոն իրենց ներկայությամբ համառ հետաքրքրություն է ցուցաբերել երիտասարդ կանանց նկատմամբ եւ իրեն անվայել պահել:
78-ամյա Դոմինգոն գործակալության միջոցով տարածված հայտարարությունում նշել էր, որ «իրենց անունները չբացահայտած անձանց կողմից 30 տարվա վաղեմության մեղադրանքերը չափազանց մտահոգիչ են»: Երգիչն ընդգծել էր, որ հարաբերություններ է ունեցել միայն երկկողմ համաձայնությամբ:
