Վառ կարմիր լեզուն գրեթե միշտ խոսում է օրգանիզմում առկա բորբոքումների մասին: Լեզվի վրայի կարմիր կետիկները մարմնի ջերմության կամ արյան բորբոքման նախանշան են: Երեխաների մոտ հնարավոր է՝ այս ձևով արտացոլվի բորբոքումների նկատմամբ իմունային համակարգի արձագանքը: Մուգ կարմիր գույնը երիկամների հետ կապված խնդիրների կամ օրգանիզմի թունավորման մասին է խոսում:
