Սա կապված է կնոջ օրգանիզմում «հորմոնալ փոթորկի» հետ: Որպես կանոն, այդ շրջանում ցավի ինտենսիվությունն առավելագույնն է: Տարիքի հետ այն նվազում է՝ հազիվ զգալի դառնալով: Ամեն աղջիկ պետք է հետազոտվի մամոլոգի մոտ ոչ պակաս, քան 3 ամիսը մեկ անգամ, դաշտանային ցիկլի 7-10-րդ օրը:
