Տղայիս վառում էին կողքի սենյակում, ձայնն ականջներիս մեջ է
LIFE-Ես բռնադատվածի ժառանգ էի, ինձ ոչ մի կուսակցություն չէին թողնում, – պատմում է բերդավանցի Սուրեն պապը և մեզ ուղեկցում դեպի որդու գերեզման։ Քսանչորս տարեկանում է ամուսնացել, ունեցել հինգ աղջիկ և մեկ որդի։ Պատմում է , որ Բերդավանում որդուն հարուստ էին ասում, շատ շռայլ ու ընկերասեր տղա էր, բայց փոքր էր, և ինքը թույլ չէր տալիս որդուն ուսերին կրել գյուղացու տանջանքն ու չարչարանքը։
–Մի օր ասաց՝ պապա, թող ես այծերին տանեմ, դու գնա գործիդ, համոզեց․․․ հետո ծանր շունչը մի պահ զսպելով՝ ավելացրեց ,- զենքը ձեռքին զոհվողը անմեղ չէ , անմեղն իմ երեխան էր, ես չեմ թողել իմ երեխու գերեզմանը բացեն, որ մայրը չտեսնի ։
Աղասը տան փոքրն էր։ Այդ օրը հորը երկար համոզելուց հետո գնացել էր այծերին արածացնելու, օրվա երկրորդ կեսից գյուղացիները կրակոց լսեցին, առաջին հայացքից դա սովորական էր, քանի որ սահմանամերձ Բերդավանում ամեն օր էր հնչում նման կրակոց, բայց ․․․
Երեկոյան այծերը եկան տուն, Աղասը չկար։ Գյուղացիները հիշեցին այդ օրվա հնչած կրակոցը Քանքլիկ կոչվող սարի մոտակայքում։
Հայրը ՝ Սուրենը, գյուղացիներից ոչ մեկին չթողեց իր հետ գնան տղային որոնելու, գնաց մենակ, հրացանը ձեռքին և իր շների հետ միասին։ Ամբողջ գիշեր որոնելուց հետո, լուսաբացին շները գտան արյան հետքը, բայց տղան այդտեղ չէր։
Թեպետ Սուրենը դեմ էր , բայց գյուղացիներն ադեն եկել էին և որոշել սահմանը հատել դեպի Ադրբեջան, բայց ապարդյուն, –Ես ոչ մեկիդ մոր պատասխանը չեմ կարող տալ, դուք մնացե,ք ես եմ գնում – ասաց Աղասի հայրը, ձեռքի հրացանը տվեց գյուղացիներին և գնաց։
