Այս հոդվածի հերոսն ընտանիքի հետ տեղափոխվեց ծերությունից մահացած տատիկի և պապիկի հին տուն: Ժամանակին ծերունիները բավական հետաքրքիր հոբբիներ ունեին: Պապիկը շատ էր սիրում հին զենք, իսկ տատիկը մոլի դրամագետ էր:

Ամուսինները կարծում էին, որ հավաքածուները վաղուց աճուրդում վաճառվել էին, բայց տունը վերանորոգելիս ամուսինը շրջեց գետնին գտնվող փոշոտ լաթը: Կտորի տակ հատակի մեջ փորված սեյֆ կար:

Զույգի հրավիրած մասնագետը դժվարությամբ բացեց սեյֆը:

Սեյֆի պարունակությունը վրայից բավական ոչ խոստումնալից էր: Սակայն փտած ծածկերի տակ իսկական գանձեր էին թաքնված: Զարմացած ընտանիքը պահոցից մեկը մյուսի հետևից ալբոմներ էր հանում:

Գտածոյի ծավալներն ապշեցնում էին:

Ինչպես հետո պարզվեց, հատակի տակ դրված էր գլխավոր հերոսի մահացած տատիկի հավաքածուի մեծ մասը:

Այնտեղ կային մետաղադրամներ և թղթադրամներ: Ցավոք, ջրի արտահոսքը վնասել էր դրանց մեծ մասը: Իսկ մետաղադրամները դիմացել էին խոնավությանը:

Խնամքով պլաստիկե գրպանիկների մեջ դրված արծաթե դոլարներն այդ գանձերի միայն փոքր մասն են: Տեղ-տեղ փչացած ալբոմներում պահված էր թանկարժեք պահոցը:

Ավելի ուշ պահոցից նաև ոչ մեծ սնդուկ հանեցին: Դրա պարունակությունը մեծ հանելուկ էր:

Մետաղյա արկղը մինչև վեջ լցված էր թանկարժեք զարդերով: Եզրափակիչ գտածոն մաքուր արծաթի մի քանի ձուլակտորն էր:
