Վրաստանի նախագահը եւ ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղարի օգնականը քննարկել են տարածաշրջանի անվտանգությունը

Վրաստանի նախագահ Գեորգի Մարգվելաշվիլին եւ ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղարի օգնականի տեղակալ Բրիջիթ Բրինքը նոյեմբերի 20-ին Թբիլիսիում կայացած հանդիպման ժամանակ քննարկել են տարածաշրջանի անվտանգության հետ կապված վիճակը:
Նախագահի վարչակազմում կայացած հանդիպմանը նաեւ ներկա են եղել Միացյալ Նահանգների դեսպան Յան Քելլին, Ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղար Իրինա Իմեռլիշվիլին, ինչպես նաեւ նախագահի խորհրդականները:
«Հանդիպմանը զրույցը վերաբերել Է երկրում ընթացող ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումներին, ընտրությունների նախապատրաստման գործընթացին, ինչպես նաեւ ինտեգրացմանը եվրոպական եւ եվրաատլանտյան ինստիտուներին»,- ասված Է պետության ղեկավարի մամուլի ծառայության հաղորդագրության մեջ:
Կողմերը խոսել են Ռազմավարական գործընկերության խարտիայի կարեւորության մասին, որը կնքվել Է Վրաստանի եւ ԱՄՆ-ի միջեւ, նշել են համագործակցության խորացման մեծ ներուժը:
Վրաստանի եւ ԱՄՆ-ի միջեւ ռազմավարական գործընկերության խարտիան ստորագրվել Է 2009 թվականի հունվարի 9-ին Վաշինգտոնում: Խարտիայի շրջանակներում 2009 թվականի հունիսին աշխատանքային խմբեր են ստեղծվել մի շարք ուղղություններով:
Փաստաթուղթը նախատեսում Է գործընկերային կապերի եւ համագործակցության ընդլայնում պաշտպանության եւ անվտանգության, տնտեսության, Էներգետիկայի, ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների, դիվանագիտության եւ մշակույթի ոլորտներում, հաղորդել Է Sputnik-ը:
