Իրանը երբեք որեւէ մեկի հետ պատերազմի չի ձգտել: Այս մասին Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնի հետ հեռախոսազրույցի ընթացքում ասել է Իրանի նախագահ Հասան Ռոհանին, հաղորդում է Mehr-ը: 

Նրա խոսքով՝  Իրանը մշտապես աշխատել է Ֆրանսիայի հետ կայուն, նպատակաուղղված հարաբերությունների հաստատման ուղղությամբ եւ այդպես կշարունակի: Ռոհանին նշել է, որ «անկասկած, միջուկային գործարքից ԱՄՆ-ի դուրսբերումը վնաս է հասցրել ԱՄՆ-ին, Եվրոպային եւ Իրանին, ինչպես նաեւ տարածաշրջանային եւ միջազգային շահերին»:

Ռոհանին հավելել է, որ միջուկային համաձայնագրին Իրանի հակվածությունը հիմնված էր տնտեսական շահերի երաշխիքների վրա, ներառյալ՝ բանկային հարցեր եւ նավթի վաճառք, սակայն, ցավոք, դրանք չեն իրականացվել:

«Եթե այդ համաձայնագրի շրջանակում Իրանի շահերը չեն իրականացվում, ապա մենք քայլ առ քայլ կդադարեցնենք մեր պարտավորությունների իրականացումը»,- նշել է Ռոհանին՝ հավելելով, որ համաձայնագիրը վերանայելու շանսեր չկան:

Նա նաեւ ԱՄՆ վարչակազմին մեղադրել է տարածաշրջանում լարվածության համար:

«Ամերիկյան անօդաչու թռչող սարքը խոցվեց մեր պաշտպանական համակարգերի կողմից Իրանի օդային տարածքը խախտելուց հետո: Եթե ամերիկացիները մտադիր են կրկին ներխուժել մեր տարածք, մեր զինված ուժերը պատրաստ են վճռական պատասխան տալ»,- ասել է Իրանի նախագահը:

Մակրոնն ասել է, որ ցավում է համաձայնագրից ԱՄՆ-ի դուրսբերման եւ Իրանի դեմ պատժամիջոցներ սահմանելու կապակցությամբ՝ հայտարարելով, որ «Ֆրանսիան ձգտում է փրկել համաձայնագիրն ու այլ երկրների, հատկապես՝ ԱՄՆ-ին, կոչ անում հետեւել դրան»:

Մակրոնը նշել է, որ բոլոր երկրները պետք է կանխեն տարածաշրջանում լարվածության աճը:
