Հունիսի 23-ը ՄԱԿ-ի պետական ծառայության օրն է
INTERNATIONAL NEWS2003 թվականի մարտին ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեան ընդունեց 57/277 բանաձեւը, որով հունիսի 23-ը հռչակվում է ՄԱԿ-ի պետական ծառայության օր (United Nations Public Service Day): Այդ պահից այն նշվում է ամեն տարի, գրում է Calend.ru-ն:
«Բոլոր երկրներն ու մարդիկ պետական ծառայության կարիք ունեն, որը պետք է լինի կոմպետենտ, հագեցած եւ լավ ապահովված ռեսուրսներով: Պետական ծառայությունը պետք է բազմազան լինի: Դրա նպատակը պետք է լինի արդյունավետ ծառայությունն ու կյանքի բարելավումը»,- ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Պան Գի Մունի ուղերձներից:
ՄԱԿ-ը անդամ պետություններին կոչ է արել այդ օրը հատուկ միջոցառումներ կազմակերպել:
Ավանդույթի համաձայն՝ այդ օրը տարբեր միջոցառումներ են անցկացվում, ինչպես նաեւ պետական ծառայության զարգացման գործում ավանդի համար ՄԱԿ-ի մրցանակների հանձնման արարողություն:
2003 թվականից մրցանակ է շնորհվել 82 երկրներից 250 նախաձեռնողների:
