Գրիգոր Բարսեղյանը Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Հայաստանը երբեք էլ չի ունեցել լավ սահմանադրություն, որը հարիր կլիներ ազատ-անկախ-ինքնիշխան պետությանը։ Հայաստանի ԲՈԼՈՐ սահմանադրություններն էլ հարիր են եղել ոչ թե սուվերեն երկրի, այլ ինչ որ գաղութի, որովհետև դրանցում միշտ էլ եղել են, կան ու կլինեն դրույթներ, որոնք ստորադասում են մեր պետականության և ինքնիշխանության իրավունքը՝ արտաքին գործոնների։

Ասել է թե, այնսահմանադրությունը, որը հիմա կա՝ ամենևին լավը չէ և շատ լավ կլիներ հրաժարվել դրանից, բայց այն ինչ առաջարկում են, որպես նոր Սահմանադրություն՝ էլ ավելի խայտառակ փաստաթուղթ է, որով երկրիդ օրենքները ստորադասվում են միջազգային տարբեր փաստաթղթերին, որով քո պետությունը նույնիսկ իրավունք չունի սեփական դրամը տպել և վարել ֆինանսա-դրամային քաղաքականությունը, որով մենք զրկվում ենք Սահմանադրական դատարան դիմելու իրավունքից, ինչպես նաև պարտադիր բուժօգնություն ստանալու հնարավորությունից։ Բոլոր առումներով, այս նոր Սահմանադրությունը հարիր է Քենիայի, Սենեգալի, Զաիրի ու այլ նմանատիպ գաղութ-պետություններին, բայց ոչ մեզ։

Եթե մենք ընտրել ենք անկախ պետականության ուղին, ապա եզ իրոք պետք է նոր Սահմանադրություն, որն ամրագրում է այդ անկխաությունն ու իշխանությունը։ Ընդ որում, ոչ միայն դեկլարատիվ մակարդակով, այլև հենց օրենքի տառով, որն անփոփոխ է մնում բոլոր հոդվածներում։ Ես նույնիսկ կողմ կլինեի, եթե մենք ընդհանրապես Սահմանդրություն չունենայինք։ Ի վերջո, նույն Միացյալ Թագավորությունն ու Իսրայելը արդեն տասննամյակներով գոյատևում են առանց որևէ Սահմանադրության ու կարծես թե դա չի խանգարում նրանց զարգանալ ու բարգավաճել։ Այս պարագայում, էլ իինչների՞ս է պետք նման ֆարսը, բացի մեր տեղական իշխանիկների քմահաճույքներին հագուրդ տալուց ու մեր երկիրը արծաթե սկուտեղի վրա Եվրոպային մատուցելուց։
