ԱԺ նախկին փոխնախագահ, նախկին հանրապետական Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է.

«2008 թվականին լույս տեսավ հայտնի լեզվաբան Դենիել Էվերետի գիրքը՝ «Մի՚քնիր, շուրջն օձեր են»։ Կարճ ժամանակում բեսթսելեր դարձած գրքում հեղինակը գրում էր, որ Ամազոնի հեռավոր բրազիլական ջունգլիներում ապրող պիրահա ցեղի լեզուն հերքում է լեզվի վերաբերյալ ընդունված կանոնները։ Նա պնդում էր, որ պիրահաները չգիտեն եւ չեն կարող սովորել հաշվել, նրանց լեզվում չկան ժամանակաձեւեր, նրանք փաստացի հաշվի չեն առնում ոչինչ՝ բացի իրենց փորձից։

Պիրահա ցեղի լեզուն ու մշակույթը կապված են նրանով, որ այդ ամենը վերաբերում է միայն նրանց անձնական փորձին, քանի որ նրանց լեզուն պարունակում է միայն պնդումներ, որոնք վերաբերում են խոսքի այն պահին, որը վերապրվել է պատմողի կողմից անմիջականորեն կամ պատմվել է նրան իր կյանքի ընթացքում ինչ-որ մեկի կողմից։ Այսպես է Էվերետը ձեւակերպում «անմիջական ընկալման» սկզբունքը։

Այս հետազտությունը բուռն քննարկումների ալիք բարձրացրեց լեզվաբանության ոլորտում, քանի որ այն բախվում էր հայտնի լեզվաբան Նոամ Չոմսկի այն մոտեցմանը, որի համաձայն բոլոր լեզուները սկզբունքորեն կառուցված են միեւնույն ձեւով՝պայմանավորված մարդկային ուղեղի աշխատանքի առանձնահատկությամբ։ 

Հիմա ինչու սա հիշեցի՝ հայկական իրականության ներկայիս ընկալումը (իշխանությունների մեկնաբանությունը) չափազանց նման է պիրահա ցեղի լեզվական ընկալումներին։ Ինչ չեն տեսել զգացել ու ընկալել՝ ուրեմն չկա, չի եղել, ավելին՝ ժամանակակից մոտեցմամբ պետք է ոչնչացնել նրանց,ովքեր տեսել են զգացել ու ընկալել, ու այն ամենը, ինչ եղել է։ Դրանց թվին են դասվում այն երեւույթները, որոնք դուրս են իրենց անմիջական ընկալումից, օրինակ՝ կյանքի գնով պետություն պահել, պատերազմի դաշտում սխրանք գործել ( նկատի ունեմ իրական ռազմի դաշտը, ոչ թե ֆեյսբուքյան ծանծաղուտը) պետականություն, պետական արժեքները սեփական անձի պաշտանմունքից վեր դասելը, դիմացինի տեսակետ հարգել, չհայհոյել, ինքնաքննադատությունը, մտահորիզոնի լայնությունն ու մակրոմտածողությունը»:
