Հայազգի շախմատիստ Լևոն Արոնյանը ոչ-ոքի խաղաց 7-րդ տուրում։ 36-ամյա շախմատիստի մրցակիցը Չինաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Յու Յանգին էր։ Թե՛ հիմնական պարտիայում, թե՛ «արմագեդոնում» կողմերը խաղաղ ելքով ավարտեցին պարտիաները։
Արոնյանը պահպանում է իր դիրքերը երրորդ հորիզոնականում։ Նրանից առաջ են միայն Յու Յանգին և Մագնուս Կառլսենը։
