«Մեջս էնքան կուտակված ասելիք կա, կուտակված, բայց և կարծրացած, որ մզում, քամում եմ, ուզում եմ դուրս հանել, բայց չի ստացվում:

Պապաս պաշտում էր Հայաստանը: Մեր Օհանավանի այգու մի ծառի համար կենաց- մահու պայքար կտար, ինձ անսահման սիրելով հանդերձ չէր լքում իր ծառերը, հավերին, նապաստակներին, շան կերը, որ պիտի հասցներ, կանաչները, որոնք ժամանակին ջրել էր պետք... Էդպես էլ մեզ հետ չեկավ հանգստի... իր հանգիստն իր այգին էր ու իր ընտանիքը` Հայաստանում:

Հայրս իսկական հայ էր ու քրիստոնյա:

Իմ լավագույն ընկերն էր ու իմ ճանաչած լավագույն տղամարդը:

Սրտիս մնացած կտորները ժայռ են դարձել առանց նրա: Միշտ ամուր ու պինդ էր, կոկիկ, անսասան եւ անտրտունջ, ներսից` փոթորիկ:

Շշմելու դիսցիպլինայով ու իր աղջիկներին անմնացորդ նվիրումով:

Երբ ես մեծացա ու դուրս եկա «մեծ» աշխարհ, շատ ծանր էի տանում այդ «աշխարհների» տարբերությունը. պարզվեց, որ տղամարդիկ հայհոյում են, հայրերն առավելապես թքած ունեն շատ պարտավորությունների վրա ու աղջկասեր չեն, որ երեխայի վրա գոռալը նորմալ է, որ կնոջը չմեծարելը հասարակ բան, որ իր անձի ու միջավայրի նկատմամբ մաքրասիությունը «ձև» է, որ դասական երաժշտություն իմանալն ամոթ է ու դուստրերի հետ բակում որևէ խաղ խաղաղալը` խայտառակություն: Նորքի բարձունքում մեզ մեծացրած ծնողներս Փոքրիկ իշխանի պես ջրում ու խնամում էին հատուկ կերպ, որ խուլիգանական - բակային «դաստիարակությունը» չդառնա դոմինանտ ու չխեղի մեր իսկական էությունը: Մեզ ջրում էին սիրով, խոնարհությամբ ու կողքինի նկատմամբ ընդգծված հարգանքով....

Էսօր հայրիկիս հուղարկավորությունից անցավ 7 օր:

Էս յոթ օրվա մեջ ես նորից հասկացա թե որքան անչափելի է իսկական, հզոր ծնողական սերը, և որքան անիմաստ մեր գոյը` թե չկա սեր ու շնորհակալություն:

Պառակտված հայրենիքում, երբ բոլորը բոլորին թշնամի են ու քննադատ` ես կապրեմ հորս նման: Նա ԱՅԳԻ ԷՐ խնամում օր ծերության, ԽՍՀՄ լավագույն քիմիկոսներից մեկն անտրտունջ ծառ էր աճեցնում, այգուց բարիք ստանում, բաժին հանում ԲՈԼՈՐԻՆ ու երջանիկ ապրում իր դուստրերի հետ միասին:

Ես ժայռ եմ` թեկուզ ճեղքված: Էդ ճեղքերում քամու բերած հողն անգամ ծիլ է տալու», - գրել է նա։
