Ասում է՝ սովորեց, քանի որ հետաքրքրված էր հայ ժողովրդի ու Հայաստանի պատմությամբ, ու միայն լեզվի իմացությունն իրեն թույլ կտար ծանոթանալու այդ պատմությանը: Աննան էլ հետ չի մնացել ու յուրացրել է ամուսնու մայրենին…
Ամուսինները ծիծաղելով պատմում են՝ թեև Ռահուլը 2008 թվականից ուսում ստանալու նպատակով Հայաստանում էր գտնվում, բայց իրենք ծանոթացել են 2015թ.-ին՝ Հնդկաստանում, երբ սանթուրահարուհի Աննան համերգային ծրագրով այնտեղ էր…
Հնդիկ փեսացուն չի թաքցնում՝ շա՜տ է տանջվել հայուհու սիրտը գրավելու համար…
«Ես ժամերով կանգնել եմ Աննայի հյուրանոցի դիմաց, որ ինքը դուրս գա, ու կարողանամ իրեն մեկ-երկու նախադասություն ասել: Անդրդվելի էր: Նաև երկու աներձագ ունեմ, պատկերացրեք, թե ի՜նչ դժվարության միջով եմ անցել…
Ես հայ տղաների հետ լավ ընկերություն եմ արել. դե ձևը տենց ա՝ պիտի աղջկա ընկերներին մոտիկանաս, հետո՝ ախպերներին, բարեկամներին, մինչև հասնես նրան», — ծիծաղելով վերհիշում է Ռահուլն, ով այսօր այնքան է կապվել այդ ընտանիքին, որ կնոջ եղբայրներին իր «թիկունքն» է համարում, ծնողներին՝ իր ծնողները…
«Գիտեմ, որ Հայաստանում փեսաները զոքանչների մասին տարբեր պատմություններ են պատմում: Բայց ես Աննայի մայրիկին մամա եմ ասում, հայրիկին՝ հայրիկ: Մինչև տուն չգամ, չեն քնում, սպասում են, անհանգստանում՝ ինչպես իմ ծնողները…
Իրենք էլ ինձ միշտ ասում են, որ իրենց փեսան չեմ, ընտանիքի տղան եմ», — ասում է նա…
Աննան էլ խոստովանում է՝ այնպիսի ընտանիքում է մեծացել, որ մտքով երբեք չի անցել, թե կարող է այլազգի ամուսին ունենալ: Սկզբում, Աննայի հորաքույրը գրկաբաց չի ընդունել հնդիկ փեսային, բայց դե Ռահուլին հաջողվել է շահել հայ բարեկամների սիրտը…
Պատկերն այլ էր Ռահուլի ընտանիքում. հնդիկ ընտանիքը գրկաբաց է ընդունել իրենց մինուճար որդու հայազգի հարսնացուին…
«Ծնողներիս ասել էի, որ այդ աղջկան շատ եմ սիրում ու գիտեմ, որ իր հետ կազմած իմ ընտանիքը երջանիկ կլինի: Ընտանիքս հարգանքով է վերաբերվում յուրաքանչյուրի որոշմանը, երբեք չի բռնացել», — վստահեցնում է Ռահուլը…
Աննայի և Ռահուլի հարսանիքը տեղի է ունեցել երկու պետություններում՝ հայկական ու հնդկական ավանդույթներով…
