Բիթքոինի միջին փոխարժեքը անցած օրը բարձրացել է 9,4 տոկոսով եւ Մոսկվայի ժամանակով ժամը 11.00-ին հասել մեկ կրիպտոարժույթը՝ 8750,24 դոլար։ Արդյունքում՝ գնանշումները վերադարձել են 2018-ի մայիսի մակարդակին, տեղեկացնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը՝ հղում կատարելով Coinmarketcap պորտալին։
Բիթքոինի շուկայի կապիտալացումը, համաձայն պորտալի տվյալների, հասել է 155,1 մլրդ դոլարի։
Կրիպտոարժույթի արժեքը սկսել է զգալիորեն բարձրանալ ընթացիկ տարվա մայիսի սկզբին։
Բիթքոինը ապակենտրոնացված համանուն կրիպտոարժույթի համակարգ է բլոքչեյն տեխնոլոգիայի հիման վրա, որը կարող է «ունենալ» (թողարկել) համակարգի մասնակից ցանկացած օգտատեր։ Դրա համար հարկավոր է ստեղծել նոր համակարգերի բլոկներ՝ հաշվիչ սարքի օգնությամբ։
Համակարգի հայեցակարգը հրապարակվել է 2008-ի նոյեմբերին նրա հեղինակի (գուցե հեղինակների կոլեկտիվի) կողմից՝ Սաթոսի Նակամոտո կեղծանվամբ, բայց բիթքոինի հանրահայտության պայթյունը տեղի ունեցավ միայն վերջին տարիներին։ Բիթքոինի թողարկումը սահմանափակված է, եւ ներկայում դրանց մեծ մասն արդեն «բաշխված» է։
