ԱՄՆ դեսպանը ոգևորված է Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների հանդիպումներով
INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱմերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգները Հայաստանի ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների օրակարգին և տնտեսական զարգացումներին աջակցելու ամուր հանձնառություն ունի: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` այս մասին մայիսի 15-ին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում հայտնել է Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Լին Թրեյսին:
«1992թ. սկսած Միացյալ Նահանգները 2 միլիարդ դոլարի հասնող ֆինանսական աջակցություն է տրամադրել Հայաստանին` աջակցելու Հայաստանի անկախությանն ու ինքնիշխանությանը: Մենք շարունակելու ենք ներդրում կատարել Հայաստանում, և համաձայնագրերը, որ ստորագրվեցին Հայ-ամերիկյան երկխոսության համատեքստում, ևս փաստում են դա»,- ասաց Թրեյսին:
Դեսպանը նշեց, որ Միացյալ Նահանգները շարունակում են Հայաստանում ուսումնասիրել ու դիտարկել ոլորտներ, որտեղ կարող է զգացվել իրենց աջակցությունը:
Ինչ վերաբերում է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների հանդիպումներին, ապա դեսպանը նկատեց՝ ինքը դրանով ոգևորված է:
«Գործընթացը ոգևորիչ է, քանի որ բարձր մակարդակի հանդիպումների արդյունքում մենք նկատել ենք շփման գծում բռնությունների կրճատում ու այլ դրական ազդակներ»,- ասաց Թրեյսին:
Դեսպանը հայտնեց, որ այս պահին ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ձևաչափով հաջորդ հանդիպումների վերաբերյալ հրապարակելու որևէ տեղեկություն չունի:
