ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի որդին՝ Լևոն Քոչարյանը պնդում է, որ Քոչարյանի դեմ մեղադրանքն անհիմն է: «Հեռախոսազանգերի գաղտնալսումներն ամենավառ, ամենացցուն փաստն է, դրանից ավելի ի՞նչ է պետք հասկանալու համար. ով չի լսել, նորից դրեք լսեք»,-լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց Լևոն Քոչարյանը:

Նա հույս հայտնեց, որ խափանման միջոցն առնվազն կփոխվի:

Հարցին՝ դատական համակարգի նկատմամբ վստահություն կա՞, թե՞ ոչ, Լևոն Քոչարյանն ասաց, որ իր հոր գործի հետ կապված վերջին ամիսներին տեղի ունեցածը հաշվի առնելով՝ իր  վստահությունը շատ չէ: «Տեսնում ենք՝ ինչ սխալ ու ապօրինի որոշումներ են կայացվել, բայց հույս կա, որ խիզախ դատավորներ ի հայտ կգան, որոնք կհետևեն օրենքին, ոչ թե այն, թե ենթադրաբար ինչ են իրենցից ակնկալում»,-ասաց նա:

Լևոն Քոչարյանը նշեց, որ թե՛ Մարտի մեկին, թե՛ մյուս օրերին իր հոր գործողությունները եղել են իր կարգավիճակից բխող: Նա նշեց, որ թե՛ իր, և թե՛ բոլորի ցանկությունն է հարցը պարզել և մեղավորներին պատասխանատվության ենթարկել:

«Մենք բոլորս ենք ուզում, որ այս հարցը պարզվի, որ այս առումով հասկանան, որ հայրս կապ չունի այդ ամենի հետ»,-ասաց նա:

Հարցին, թե այդ դեպքում ո՞վ է հրաման տվել, Քոչարյանի որդին պատասխանեց. «Ինչպե՞ս եք պատկերացնում, որ ինչ-որ մեկը հրաման տա սպանել: Մի մարդ, ով ղեկավարել է 10 տարի, չեմ վարանի ասել՝ փայլուն արդյունքներ է ցույց տվել և ինչ-որ մեկ ամիս էր մնում, պետք է գնար նման քայլի՞: Սա մեկ հոգու, երկու հոգու որոշելիք հարց չէ, նման բաների մեջ պատկերացրեք քանի հոգի պետք է ներգրավված լինեն: Նույնիսկ այս պայմաններում նման մեղադրանք չկա, և պետք է ապացուցել, որ հայրս կապ չէր կարողանալ ունենալ: Ես կոչ եմ անում՝ թող սենց անհեթեթ մեղադրանքներ առաջադրելու փոխարեն գնան, գտնեն մեղավորներին՝ ուղղակի ամեն տեղ նայեն, ոչ թե կոնկրետ մեկ տեղ»,-ասաց նա:

Հարցին, թե սոցցանցերում իրենց  ընտանիքին ուղղված մեղադրանքներին ինչպես է վերաբերվում, Լևոն Քոչարյանը նշեց, թե մեկնաբանություններ անողների մի մասը մոլորված են, քանի որ նրանց տարիներ շարունակ ինչ-որ բաներ են հրամցրել իրենց ընտանիքի մասին:

«Ինչ-որ միֆական ունեցվածքներ, նույն Մարտի մեկը... ու կա մոլորված զանգված, որն այդ ամեն ինչին հավատում է և դրանից էլ կա այդ նեգատիվ վերաբերմունքը: Բայց կան շատ մարդիկ, ովքեր աջակցում են: Կոնկրետ ես բազմաթիվ մարդկանցից հարյուրավոր նամականեր եմ ստանում՝ աջակցելու, քաջալերելու խոսքեր թե՛ ինձ, թե ՛ընտանքիս՝ հորս հետ կապված: Մի մասն էլ իհարկե ուղղորդված է: Իհարկե դա մտահոգում է, բայց եթե չեն կարող դիմացը կանգնել ու ասել, նման մարդկանց ասածները լուրջ չենք ընդունում»,-ասաց նա:
