Հաղթանակները ժամանակ չունեն, ինչպես բնության ինվարիանտ օրենքները, որոնք չեն փոփոխվում. հաղթանակի զգացումն ընդմիշտ է։ Այսօր Հաղթանակի զբոսայգում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նման տեսակետ հայտնեց ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն՝ անդրադառնալով մայիսյան եռատոնին։ Նախագահը կարծում է, որ եթե հայերը ճշգրիտ ունենային Ավարայրի ճակատամարտի օրը, ապա այդ հաղթանակն էլ կտոնեին։

«Մեր հաղթանակներն առանձնահատուկ են, քանի որ պայքարում ենք ամբողջ ազգով։ Եթե ընդամենը 100 տարի հետ գնանք՝ Սարդարապատի, Բաշ Ապարանի և Առաջին Հանրապետության հաղթանակները հիշենք, կտեսնենք, որ բոլորն ազգային են, քանի որ մարտնչում է ոչ միայն հայոց բանակը, այլ ամբողջ ժողովուրդը»,- ասաց նա։

Նախագահի խոսքով՝ 2-րդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակն էլ հայերն ազգովի են մարտնչել։ Նա հիշեցրեց, որ թեև պայքարի մեջ Խորհրդային միությունն էր, միևնույն է, համախմբվել էր նաև Սփյուռքը։

«Այդ հաղթանակին մասնակցում էր նաև ամբողջ հայ ժողովուրդը Սփյուռքից։ Սփյուռքը՝ Միջին Արևեքում, Եվրոպայում, ԱՄՆ-ում հսկայական գումարներ էր հավաքում, որ աջակցեր Խորհրդային բանակին, քանի որ վտանգված էր հայկական պետականությունը»,- շարունակեց Արմեն Սարգսյանը։

Հանրապետության նախագահը գտնում է, որ Արցախի ազատագրումն էլ հայի միասնական պայքարի արդյունք էր։

«Նույնը նաև ապրիլյան պատերազմի ժամանակ էր, քանի որ վտանգի պահին բոլորի թիրախը դառնում հաղթանակը»,- եզրափակեց Արմեն Սարգսյանը։
