Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այսօր ընդունել է Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների՝ Եվրոպայի և Եվրասիայի հարցերով պետքարտուղարի փոխտեղակալ Ջորջ Քենթի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում են կառավարության լրատվական բաժնից:

Վարչապետը նշել է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ բարեկամական հարաբերությունների և կառուցողական գործընկերության շարունակական խորացումը կարևոր նշանակություն ունի Հայաստանի  համար, որը գտնվում է ժողովրդավարական արմատական բարեփոխումների փուլում և առաջ է շարժվում ժողովրդավարության ինստիտուցիոնալ ու տնտեսապես հզորացման ճանապարհով:

ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի փոխտեղակալը նշել է, որ ուրախ է կրկին այցելել մեր երկիր՝ այս անգամ արդեն խորհրդարանական ընտրություններից հետո և հայկական կողմի հետ քննարկել համագործակցության օրակարգը: Ջորջ Քենթի խոսքով՝ ԱՄՆ-ն հետաքրքրված է ՀՀ հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացմամբ և մեր երկրի համար առաջնահերթություն հանդիսացող ոլորտներում փոխգործակցությամբ:

 Զրուցակիցները քննարկել են փոխշահավետ գործընկերության խորացմանը վերաբերող հարցեր:

Որպես ինստիտուցիոնալ կարևոր ուղղություն՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը նշել է դատական համակարգի բարեփոխումների, կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի, նաև ընտրական և ոստիկանական ոլորտներում գործակցությունը: Վարչապետի խոսքով՝ Հայաստանում տեղի են ունեցել ազատ և ժողովրդավարական ընտրություններ, որոնք պետք է երաշխավորվեն ինստիտուցիոնալ առումով, և այս ուղղություններով բարեփոխումների իրականացումը զգալի կարևորություն ունեն:  Անդրադառնալով տնտեսական կապերի զարգացման հնարավորություններին՝ կառավարության ղեկավարը հեռանկարային է համարել ջրամբարաշինության, ենթակառուցվածքների, տեխնոլոգիաների, շրջակա միջավայրի ոլորտներում համագործակցությունը:

Ջորջ Քենթը նշել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ողջունում է Հայաստանի՝ ժողովրդավարության զարգացման, տնտեսական առաջընթացի, ինչպես նաև տարբեր ուղղություններով քայլերը և պատրաստ է աջակցել ՀՀ կառավարությանը բարեփոխումների իրականացման գործընթացում:

ՀՀ վարչապետը և ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի փոխտեղակալը մտքեր են փոխանակել  նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման, տարածաշրջանային մարտահրավերների և գործընթացների շուրջ:

Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հաջողություն է մաղթել միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի՝ Հայ-ամերիկյան ռազմավարական երկխոսության վաղը կայանալիք նիստին:
