Քաղաքագետ Ստեփան Դանիեկլյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է.

«Քաղաքացու տոնը խորովածի հետ որևէ առնչություն չունի։ Քաղաքացի հասկացությունը ունի հին հունական ծագում, իսկ մեր ժամանակներում արդեն կապված է ամերիկյան ու ֆրանսիական հեղափոխությունների հետ ու հիմքում ունի ազատության գաղափարը։ Հատուկ ուշադրություն՝ առաջին հերթին անձի ազատության մասին է խոսքը։ Օրինակ՝ Ֆրանսիայում և Ամերիկայում այն պետական գաղափարախոսություն է, ունի ծիսակարգ և խորհրդանիշներ։

Հիմնական գաղափարներից է անձի հոգևոր ազատությունը եկեղեցուց և պետության ամենաթողությունից։

Ամերիկայի դեպքում դա չի նշանակում աթեիստական երկիր, խոսքը գնում է կրոնական ինստիտուտներից ազատության մասին, այսինքը պետությունը մարդու հոգու մեջ չի մտնում։ ԱՄՆ յուրաքանչյուր նախագահ, անգամ չմկրտված Լինքոլնը, երդվում է Աստծո, բայց երբեք Հիսուսի առաջ։ Դա ոչ կոնֆեսիոնալ Աստված է, խոսքը Բարձյալի մասին է ու յուրաքանչյուր ոք Բարձյալի մասին իր պատկերացումներն ունի։

Ամերիկան Ազատության միսիայի գաղափարի վրա է հիմնված ու այստեղից է բխում քաղաքացու իրավունքներն ու պարտականությոնները։

Ինչի եմ սա գրում, խնդրում եմ հեղափոխական քաղաքացիներին գոնե երկու էջի սահմաններում շարադրեն, թե իրենք ինչ են հասկանում Քաղաքացի ասելով, որ քննարկելու թեմա ունենանք։

Անբովանդակ հեղափոխությունը, անբովանդակ Քաղաքացին, անբովանդակ կառավարության ծրագիրը մարդկանց ուղեղներում վթարային վիճակներ է առաջացնում»:
