Հազարավոր քրիստոնյաներ հավաքվել են Երուսաղեմում` սպասելով Սրբագործ կրակի իջնելու հրաշքին (ուղիղ միացում)

Աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներից հազարավոր քրիստոնյաներ, այդ թվում՝ հայեր, շաբաթ հավաքվել են Երուսաղեմի Տիրոջ գերեզմանի վանքում և դրան հարակից հրապարակում: Մի քանի ժամ տևած աղոթքներից հետո նրանք սպասում են Սրբագործ կրակի իջնելու հրաշքին, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ի թղթակիցը Երուսաղեմից:

Սրբագործ կրակը խորհրդանշում է Քրիստոսի հարության աստվածային լույսը: Ամեն տարի կրակը վառվում է Տիրոջ գերեզմանի վանքում՝ Սուրբ Զատկի նախօրեին:

Քրիստոնյաները մոմեր են վառում Սրբագործ կրակից և կրակը բաժանում հարևաններին։ Հաշված վայրկյանների ընթացքում կրակը տարածվում է ամբողջ տաճարով, սփռվում դրա առջև գտնվող հրապարակում, ընթանում հարևան նրբանցքներով։

Իսրայելական ոստիկանությունը հերթապահում է քաղաքի բոլոր դարպասների և եկեղեցու մոտ` հրմշտոցը և այլ միջադեպեր կանխելու համար:

Համարվում է, որ եկեղեցին կառուցվել է այն նույն տեղում, որտեղ, Աստվածաշնչի համաձայն, դրվել է Հիսուս Քրիստոսի մարմինը, ապա հարություն առել: Եկեղեցում յուրաքանչյուր տարի կատարվում է հանդիսավոր արարողություն:

Երուսաղեմի սրբավայրերի պահպանությունը համատեղ իրականացնում են Հույն Ուղղափառ, Հայ Առաքելական և Կաթոլիկ եկեղեցիները:

Նշենք, որ Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցին Սուրբ Զատկի տոնը նշել է մեկ շաբաթ առաջ՝ ապրիլի 21-ին:
