Պիրանիաներ. սարսափազդու գիշատիչնե՞ր, թե՞ վախկոտ ձկնիկներ
ՀԱՆՐԱՀԱՅՏ ՄՈԼՈՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆՆԵՐՄենք գիտենք, որ...
Պիրանիաները Ամազոն գետում ապրող արյունարբու և կատաղի ձկներ են, որոնք խժռում են գետի մեջ ընկած ամեն կենդանի արարածի։ Ընդ որում, գիտնականները հաշվարկել են, որ պիրանիաների վտառը, օրինակ, ջրի մեջ ընկած կովին «մաշկում» է 2 րոպեում, կոշտ միս ունեցող ալիգատորին՝ 5 րոպեում, իսկ մարդուց ոչինչ չթողնելու համար նրանցից պահանջվում է ընդամենը 40 վայրկյան։
Իրականում այնքան էլ այդպես չէ։
Բանն այն է, որ պիրանիան իրոք վտանգավոր է, սակայն միայն վտառում։ Միայնակ պիրանիաները համարյա երբեք չեն հարձակվում մարդու կամ կենդանու վրա։ Այնպես որ, այս ձկները լուրջ վտանգ չեն ներկայացնում Ամազոնի ավազանում ապրող մարդկանց համար։ Պորտուգալերենից թարգմանաբար «պիրանիա» նշանակում է ծովահեն։ Այս ձկնատեսակը ունի ամուր և սուր ատամներ և ունակ է մեկ կծելով կոտրել ծառի ճյուղը, անգամ հաստ ձկնորսական կարթերը չեն դիմանում նրանց ատամներին։ Պիրանիաների ընտանիքի ձկնատեսակների կեսը սնվում է բացառապես ջրային բույսերով և ջրի մեջ ընկած պտուղներով, իսկ մյուս կեսն իրոք գիշատիչ է, սակայն սրանցից միայն 4 տեսակն է վտանգ ներկայացնում տաքարյուն կենդանիների, նաև մարդու համար։ Պիրանիաներն իրոք, այսպես ասած, «փափուկ խաղալիքներ» չեն, սակայն սարսափազդու պատմությունները և արկածային ֆիլմերն այն մասին, թե ինչպես են պիրանիաները խժռում մարդկանց, իրականում մոլորություն են։ Բանն այն է, որ մարդիկ հանգիստ լողում, լողանում և լվացք են անում Ամազոնի ջրերում, և, ինչքան էլ զարմանալի է, պիրանիաներով վխտացող այդ ջրերում ոչ մեկին չեն կծում կամ խժռում։ Այնուամենայնիվ, իրոք գրանցված փաստեր կան, երբ պիրանիաները կծել են մարդկանց, սակայն սրանք եզակի դեպքեր են։ Ընդ որում, անգամ դեռևս չի արձանագրվել դեպք, որ մարդը մահանա պիրանիաների վտառի հարձակման հետևանքով։ Նշենք, որ Ամազոնում ավելի մեծ վտանգ են ներկայացնում արտաքինից ոչ սարսափելի սկատները։ Նշենք, որ պիրանիաների յուրահատուկ մետաբոլիզմը թույլ չի տալիս այդ ձկներին մեկ շաբաթից շուտ սնունդ ընդունել։ Հենց այս «վատ սովորությունն» էլ պատճառ է դարձել, որ սոված ձկնիկը անմիջապես կատաղորեն հարձակվի պոտենցիալ սննդի վրա, եթե անգամ դա խոշոր կաթնասուն է։ Իրականում պիրանիաներն էլ թշնամիներ ունեն, դրանք են՝ կայմանները, դելֆինները և, ինչքան էլ զարմանալի է, Ամազոնի հնդկացիները։ Հնդկացիների համար պիրանիան ոչ թե սարսափ է, այլ դելիկատես:
Նշենք, որ պիրանիաները ներկայումս հանդիսանում են նաև ակվարիումային ձկներ։ Ընդ որում, սիրողները իրենց ակվարիումներում պահում են անգամ պիրանիաների ամենակատաղի տեսակներից։ Ի դեպ, նրանք չեն բողոքում իրենց այդ «ընտանի կենդանիներից»։ Ավելին, նշում են, որ ակվարիումում պիրանիան շատ վախկոտ է, անհետաքրքիր և քիչ շարժուն, իսկ ակվարիումի պատին հարվածելիս անմիջապես շրջվում է կողքի, իջնում հատակն ու սատկած ձևանում, և միայն յուրահատուկ դեպքերում՝ ինքնապաշտպանության ժամանակ են նրանք գործի դնում իրենց սուր և ամուր ատամները։
