Թուրք հասարակական գործիչ Հասան Ջեմալը, ով Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճարտարապետներից Ջեմալ փաշայի թոռն է, հայտարարել է, որ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի նպատակը Սիրիա թուրքական զորք մտցնելն ու երկիրը վաղաժամկետ ընտրությունների տանելն է:
Թուրքական DemokratHaber կայքում, հրապարակած` «Ոչ պետք է ասենք Թուրքիայի առաջ պատերազմի թակարդ ցանկացողներին» վերնագրով հոդվածում Ջեմալն անդրադարձել է թուրքական իշխանամետ ԶԼՄ-ների առաջնորդողները «զարդարած» «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման (ԻՊ) նկատմամբ իշխող «Արդարություն եւ զարգացում» կուսակցության (ԱԶԿ) «սիրո արտահայտություններին», 80 պատգամավորներով նոր խորհրդարան մտած քրդական «Ժողովուրդների դեմո կրատական կուսակցության (ԺԴԿ) նկատմամբ բացահայտ ատելությանը եւ ԱԶԿ-ի այն հայտարարությանը, թե «ԺԴԿ-ն ԻՊ-ից ավելի վտանգավոր է»:
Նա ասել է, որ որեւէ կասկած չունի, որ քրդական ԺԴԿ-ի նկատմամբ ատելության բացահայտ դրսեւորումը բխում է նախագահական պալատից, քանի որ ընտրություններում ընտրական շեմը հաղթահարած հենց քրդական կուսակցության պատճառով է, որ ԱԶԿ-ն չի կարողացել մեծասնություն կազմել նոր խորհրդարանում:
«Նախագահ Էրդողանի նպատակը Սիրիա զորք մտցնելն ու նման «պատերազմական մթնոլորտում» երկիրը վաղաժամկետ ընտրությունների մեջ մտցնելն է, քանի որ Էրդողանը հույս ունի, որ այդ կերպ իշխող կուսակցությունը կկարողանա վերականգնել հունիսի 7-ին անցկացված խորհրդարանական ընտրություններում կորցրած իր պատգամավորական աթոռները», -ասել է Ջեմալը` նշելով, որ այդ նպատակով, նույնիսկ հնարավոր է օրակարգում հայտնվի ԱԶԿ-ի հետ Ազգայնական շարժում կուսակցության (ԱՇԿ) միջեւ կոալիցիա ստեղծելը:
Հոդվածի վերջում Ջեմալը գրել է. «ԺԴԿ-Քուրդիստանի աշխատավորական կուսակցություն երկյակի` ԻՊ-ից ավելի վտանգավոր տեսնելն ու այդ պատճառով Սիրիա մտնելը ոչ միայն Թուրքիայում, այլ նաեւ ամբողջ տարածաշրջանում պատերազմ հրահրելն ու խաղաղությունը տորպեդահարել, Թուրքիային Մերձավոր Արեւելքում պատերազմի ճահճի մեջ քաշել է նշանակում: Թուրքիայի յուրաքանչյուր խելահաս քաղաքացի պետք է դեմ հանդես գա Էրդողանի այդ նպատակին», -ասել է Ջեմալը:
Միջազգային ԶԼՄ-ները բազմիցս անդրադարձել են ԻՊ-ին Էրդողանի կառավարության կողմից թիկունքային եւ զենք ու զինամթերքով բացահայտ աջակցությում կատարվելու հարցին:
