ՀՀ Ազգային հերոս Թաթուլ Կրպեյանը ծնվել է 1965թ. ապրիլի 21-ին Արեգ գյուղում։

Արցախյան ազատամարտի տարիներին Թաթուլ Կրպեյանը եղել է Գարդմանքի Գետաշեն-Մարտունաշեն ենթաշրջանի ինքնապաշտպանության հրամանատարը, զոհվել է 1991թ. ապրիլի 30-ին՝ «Օղակ» գործողության ժամանակ Գետաշենում։

Կենսագրությունը

Թաթուլ Կրպեյանը ծնվել է 1965թ. ապրիլի 21-ին Արեգ գյուղում (Թալինի շրջան, Արագածոտնի մարզ, ՀՀ): 1984-1985թթ. ծառայել է ԽՍՀՄ ԶՈՒ-ում:

1987-1990թթ. սովորել է Երևանի պետական համալսարանի պատմության ֆակուլտետում: 1987թ. աշնանից անդամագրվել է «Միացում» կազմակերպությանը: 1990թ. սեպտեմբերից պատմության ուսուցիչ է աշխատել Գետաշենի դպրոցում: Եղել է Գետաշեն-Մարտունաշեն ենթաշրջանի ինքնապաշտպանության հրամանատարը:

1991թ. ապրիլին ադրբեջանցի հրոսակները և խորհրդային զորքերը սկսել են Կոլցո գործողությունը, որի նպատակը Գետաշենի ենթաշրջանի հայության բռնի տեղահանումն էր: Թաթուլը պատանդ է վերցրել այդ գործողության ղեկավար ԽՍՀՄ ՆԳՆ ներքին զորքերի Բաքվի գնդի հրամանատար գնդապետ Մաշկովին:

Զոհվել է 1991թ. ապրիլի 30-ին Գետաշենում:

Թ. Կրպեյանի անունով են կոչվում ՀՅԴ արտասահմանյան մի քանի կազմակերպություններ, դպրոց` Արեգ գյուղում և Կովսական քաղաքում (ԼՂՀ Քաշաթաղի շրջան), փողոց` Թալինում, լսարան` Երևանի պետական համալսարանի պատմության ֆակուլտետում, սահմանվել է նրա անվան կրթաթոշակ:

Լույս է տեսել նրա բանաստեղծությունների «Թաթուլ» գրքույկը (1993): Թաղված է Արեգ գյուղում, որտեղ կանգնեցված է տուֆակերտ հուշակոթող: ՀՀ ազգային հերոսի կոչումը նրան տրվել է հետմահու՝ 20.09.1996թ.: Պարգևատրվել է Հայրենիքի շքանշանով:
