Օգոստոսի 5-17-ը Հայաստանում և Արցախում տեղի կունենան 7-րդ ամառային Համահայկական խաղերը: Այս տարի կնշվի խաղերի 20-ամյակը: Բացման հանդիսավոր արարողությունը և մրցումային 3 օրերը կանցկացվեն Ստեփանակերտում, իսկ մրցումային հաջորդ օրերը՝ օգոստոսի 9-17-ը՝ Երևանում: Համահայկական ամառային 7-րդ խաղերի բացման հանդիսավոր արարողությունը տեղի կունենա օգոստոսի 6-ին Ստեփանակերտի Ստեփան Շահումյանի անվան հանրապետական մարզադաշտում, իսկ փակումը՝ օգոստոսի 17-ին, Երևանում՝ Ազատության հրապարակում։

Համահայկական խաղերի համաշխարհային կոմիտեի նախագահ Իշխան Զաքարյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը Արցախում է: Ստեղծագործական խումբը տեղում է ճշտում անելիքները: Իշխան Զաքարյանի խոսքով՝ ամառային խաղերը կանցնեն բարձ մակարդակով: Դրանք Արցախում անցկացնելու առաջարկը կոմիտեն ընդունել է միաձայն:

«Արցախում անցկացնելն ունի նաև այն նշանակությունը, որ համահայկական խաղերի նշանաբանը՝ «Հայաստան, Արցախ, Սփյուռք» եռամիասնությամբ, սպորտի միջոցով միասնականությամբ, համերաշխությամբ սիրո գաղափարների տարածումն է, թևածումը ամբողջ համայն հայության շրջանում»,- ասել է Կոմիտեի նախագահը, փոխանցում է կազմակերպության մամուլի ծառայությունը:

Համահայկական ամառային խաղերին կմասնակցեն սփյուռքի ավելի քան 35 քաղաքների ներկայացուցիչներ: 17 մարզաձևից 12-ի մրցումները նախատեսում են անցկացնել Արցախում: Մինչ այդ կկահավորեն դահլիճներն ու մարզահրապարակները:

Համահայկական 7-րդ ամառային խաղերի կազմակերպիչները Ստեփանակերտում հանդիպել են Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանի, պետական նախարար Գրիգորի Մարտիրոսյանի հետ: Առաջին աշխատանքային խորհրդակցությանը մասնակցել են ֆեդերացիաների ներկայացուցիչներն ու շահագրգիռ մարմինների պատասխանատուները:
