Զարմանալու կարիք չկա, կիվին ամենևին էլ քմահաճ չէ, և այն կարելի է աճեցնել անգամ սովորական տան պայմաններում:

Կիվին ցանելու համար ամենալավ ժամանակը մարտից մայիս ընկած ժամանակահատվածն է:

Ընտրեք հասուն պտուղներ, որ լինեն փափուկ, հարթ: Պտուղը լվանալ և բաժանել մի քանի մասի:

Միջուկը խնամքով տրորել, ստացված շիլան լցնել տաք ջրով բաժակի մեջ, խառնել և թողնել որոշ ժամանակ:

Այնուհետև մի քանի անգամ լվանալ, կորիզները կսկսեն լողալ մակերևույթին: Սերմերը դնել անձեռոցիկի վրա և թողնել 2 –ից 4 ժամ, որպեսզի լավ չորանան:

Հարթ ափսեի վրա բամբակ կամ գործվածք տարածել և վրան շարել կորիզները: Ավելացնել քիչ քանակությամբ տաք ջուր: Բամբակը պետք է ներծծի ջուրը:

Կորիզների վրա պոլիէթիլենային թաղանթ փռել և դնել տաք արևոտ տեղում: Գիշերը թաղանթը վերցնել կորիզների վրայից: Առավոտյան լցնել անհրաժեշտ քանակությամբ ջուր: 7-10 օր անց կիվիի սերմերը կծլեն:

Ցանելու համար անհրաժեշտ է վերցնել սենյակային բույսերի համար նախատեսված ծաղկաման: Լավ կլինի պատրաստի հող գնել ՝ նախատեսված տրոպիկական լիանաների համար: Երկու ժամ պահել ջրային գոլորշու վրա:

5-10 մմ խորության վրա դնել 2-3 կորիզ, թեթևակի ծածկել հողով, ջրել սենյակային ջերմաստիճանի ջրով և ամուր փակել թաղանթով: Դնել տաք արևոտ տեղում և 3-6 օր անց առաջին ծիլերը կհայտնվեն:

Ջրել չափավոր և ոչ ծորակի ջրով: Ձմռանը ջրել ամիսը 2-3 անգամ: Վեգետացիայի շրջանում ՝ շաբաթը 2 անգամ: Շոգ եղանակին պտուղները ցողել ջրով:

Սերմերից տնկած կիվին բարենպաստ պայմաններում ծաղկում ր բերք է տաիս երրորդ կամ չորրորդ տարում:
