Աշխատանքային այցով Հորդանանի Հաշիմյան Թագավորությունում գտնվող՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն ապրիլի 6-ի երեկոյան հանդիպել է Հորդանանի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ։ Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

Դիմելով տեղի հայերին՝ նախագահ Սարգսյանն ասել է. «Այն փաստը, որ մենք ապրում ենք աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում, սփռված ենք աշխարհի տարբեր մասերում, գուցե ոչ թե թերություն է, այլ ընդհակառակը՝ առավելություն, որովհետև մենք աշխարհի այն քիչ ժողովուրդներից ենք, որոնք կարող են շատ հստակ ասել. մենք փոքր պետություն ենք, բայց համաշխարհային ազգ»։

Նախագահի խոսքով՝ «մենք բոլորս հայ ենք և ունենք պարտականություն՝ ծառայելու մեր հայրենիքին»: Հպարտությամբ նշելով, որ Հորդանանի հայ համայնքը լիովին ինտեգրված է երկրի կյանքում՝ նախագահ Սարգսյանն ասել է. «Սա շատ էական է։ Մեր բոլոր համայնքներում մեր հայրենակիցները պետք է հետևեն մեծ պոետ, երգիչ և երգահան Շառլ Ազնավուրի օրինակին, որը միշտ ասում էր՝ ես հարյուր տոկոսով հայ եմ և հարյուր տոկոսով ֆրանսիացի։ Սա այն մոդելն է, որով մեզնից յուրաքանչյուրը պետք է ապրի Սփյուռքում։ Լինել հարյուր տոկոսով հորդանանցի՝ լիովին ներգրավված այս երկրի քաղաքական, տնտեսական, մշակութային կյանքին և միաժամանակ հարյուր տոկոսով հայ։ Սա է հաջողության բանաձևը»։

Նշելով, որ Հորդանանի թագավորական ընտանիքը պատմականորեն միշտ էլ աջակից է եղել և ջերմ վերաբերմունք ունեցել հայ ժողովրդի նկատմամբ՝ նախագահ Սարգսյանն ասել է, որ դրա վկայությունն է նաև Հորդանանի թագավոր Աբդալլահ Երկրորդ Իբն Ալ-Հուսեյն Ալ-Հաշիմիի հետ իր հանդիպումը։ «Մենք ունեցանք շատ ջերմ զրույց։ Քննարկեցինք մեր երկու ժողովուրդների պատմությունն ու երկու պետությունների հարաբերությունները՝ նկատելով, որ հսկայական ներուժ ունենք տարբեր ոլորտներում։ Մեր երկու երկրներն ունեն բազմաթիվ ընդհանրություններ, հարուստ չլինելով բնական ռեսուրսներով՝ Հայաստանը և Հորդանանը կարևորում ու գնահատում են մարդկային ռեսուրսը»,- ասել է Արմեն Սարգսյանը և հավելել. «Մեր լավագույն բնական հարստությունը դուք եք՝ հայ ժողովուրդը»։

Նախագահ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ 21-րդ դարում ամենաթանկ արժեքը լինելու է ստեղծագործ մարդը։ «Ես վստահ եմ, որ 21-րդ դարը մեր՝ հայերի դարն է լինելու, որովհետև մենք ստեղծագործ ժողովուրդ ենք, մեր ճանապարհը մտքի հզորության, մտքի արժեքի ճանապարհն է», - ասել է նա։

Նախագահ Սարգսյանը հորդանանահայերին նաև տեղեկացրել է, որ Հորդանանի Հաշիմյան Թագավորության թագավոր Աբդալլահ Երկրորդ Իբն Ալ-Հուսեյն Ալ-Հաշիմիին հրավիրել է այցելել Հայաստան։
