Մաշկաբանները խորհուրդ են տալիս լողանալ ոչ թե տաք, այլ գոլ ջրով, ցնցուղ ընդունել ոչ ավել քան երեք րոպե և անպայման լոգանքից հետո մաշկի խոնավեցնող քսուկ օգտագործել։ 6-11 տարեկան երեխաները լոգանք պետք է ընդունեն շաբաթական մեկ կամ երկու անգամ, հակառակ դեպքում իմունիտետը կարող է վտանգի ենթարկվել։
