Ահա, թե ինչու Չինաստանում չեն հիվանդանում կրծքի քաղցկեղով. պատճառը մթերքն է, որը մենք օգտակար ենք համարում
LIFEՋեյն Պլանթը հանրահայտ պրոֆեսոր էր երկրաքիմիայի ոլորտում, սիրելի մայր ու կին, երբ 1987 թվականին նրան ախտորոշեցին կրծքի քաղցկեղ: Ջեյնի ամուսինը՝ նույնպես հայտնի գիտնական, այդ ժամանակ աշխատում էր Չինաստանում: Նա իր գործընկերների հետ այնպիսի բացահայտում կատարեց, ինչի արդյունքում պարզ դարձավ, թե ինչու Չինաստանի կանայք չեն հիվանդանում կրծքի քաղցկեղով: Եվ հենց այս տեսությունն էլ օգնեց Ջեյնին հաղթահարել հիվանդությունը: Ներկայացնում է EnterTrain-ը:
«Երկար ժամանակ ես չէի կարողանում հասկանալ թե ինչու չինացի կանայք չեն հիվանդանում կրծքի քաղցկեղով: Երբ ինքս բախվեցի հիվանդությանը, որոշեցի այս հարցը առավել մանրամասն ուսումնասիրել,-ասում է Ջեյն Պլանթը,- մենք գործընկերներով փորձում էինք դրա համար տրամաբանական բացատրություն գտնել՝ ուսումնասիրում էինք նրանց ամենօրյա կյանքը, ֆիզիկական ծանրաբեռնվածությունը և սննդակարգը: Եվ մի անգամ գործընկերներիցս մեկի գլխում փայլուն միտք ծագեց, «Չինացիները կաթնամթերք չեն օգտագործում»: Եվ երբ մտածեցինք այդ մասին հասկացանք, որ մոտենում ենք մի մեծ բացահայտման»:
1989 թվականին հետազոտությունը ցույց տվեց, որ յոգուրտը կարող է ձվարանների քաղցկեղի պատճառ լինել:
«Ես դադարեցի կաթնամթերք ուտել և 6 շաբաթ անց քաղցկեղը անհետացավ: Այն ոչ թե ուղղակի փոքրացել էր, այլ անհետացել,- ասել է Ջեյն Պլանթը»:
