Մեր ժամանակի հերոս Քյարամ Սլոյան. Քյարամ Սլոյանը եղել է արցախա-ադրբեջանական քառօրյա պատերազմի առաջին զոհերից մեկը։ Նա ծառայում էր Արցախի հյուսիս-արևելյան սահմանագծին՝ Մարտակերտում:

2016 թվականի ապրիլի 2-ին Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերը արցախա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծի ողջ երկայնքով հարձակում են գործում Արցախի Հանրապետության ուղղությամբ: Չորս օր տեւած պատերազմը երկու կողմերին հասցնում է մարդկային եւ տեխնիկական կորուստներ։ Հայկական կողմի կորուստների մեջ էր նաեւ ազգությամբ եզդի զինվոր Քյարամ Սլոյանը։ Նրա մահվան մասին պաշտոնապես հայտարարվել է 2016 թվականի ապրիլի 5-ին։

Կապիտան Արմենակ Ուրֆանյանի հրամանատարությամբ՝ զինծառայող Քյարամ Սլոյանը իր զինակիցների հետ միասին կարողացել է երկու անգամ հետ մղել հակառակորդի գրոհը։ Ադրբեջանական հատուկ ջոկատայինների գերազանցող ուժերի ճնշման տակ կապիտան Արմենակ Ուրֆանյանը անձնակազմին հրամայել է հեռանալ առաջնագծից, սակայն շարքայիններ Քյարամ Սլոյանը, Անդրանիկ Զոհրաբյանը եւ Ռոբերտ Աբաջյանը, չենթարկվելով հրամանատարի հրամանին, շարունակել են պաշտպանական մարտը։

Շարքային Քյարամ Սլոյանը մահացու վիրավորել է, երբ սպառվել են փամփուշտները, ինչից հետո փորձել է կրակի գծից դուրս բերել ծանր վիրավորված հրամանատարին։ Բազմաթիվ վիրավորումներից եւ ադրբեջանցի հատուկ ջոկատայինների հետ բռնված մերձամարտից հետո, սպանվել է, ենթարկվել խոշտանգումների եւ գլխատվել։ 

Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի նախագահի հրամանագրով հետմահու պարգևատրվել է ԼՂՀ «Մարտական ծառայության» մեդալով։ 2016 թվականի մայիսի 28-ին Քյարամ Սլոյանը Սերժ Սարգսյանի կողմից հետմահու պարգեւատրվել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության «Մարտական խաչ» 1-ին աստիճանի պետական շքանշանով։

Քյարամ Սլոյանը ծնվել է 1996 թվականի ապրիլի 27-ին, Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Արագածոտնի մարզի Արտաշավան գյուղում՝ եզդիների ընտանիքում։ Նրա հայրը՝ Քյալաշը, եղել է 1988-1994 թվականների Արցախյան պատերազմի ազատամարտիկ։ 2014 թվականին Քյարամ Սլոյանն առաջին զորակոչով ներկայացել է Աշտարակի զինկոմիսարիատ եւ անցել ծառայության Արցախի Հանրապետությունում:
