2016 թվականի ապրիլյան պատերազմից անցել է երեք տարի, պատերազմի նահատակ հերոս, կապիտան Արգիշտի Գաբոյանի ծնողների համար որդու կորստի ցավն անցնող տարիները չեն մեղմում, հակառակը՝ անցնող-գնացող օրերի հետ Արգիշտիի կարիքն ավելի ու ավելի են զգում։ Միշտ զգում են նրա ներկայությունը, սակայն անպատմելի կարոտը ոչ մի կերպ չեն կարողանում մեղմել։

168.am-ի հետ զրույցում հերոսի մայրը՝ Հասմիկ Սարգսյանը, ասաց, որ որդու կորստի ցավը նման է բաց վերքի, որի ցավը կրկնապատկվում է հատկապես ապրիլի սկզբին։

«Արգիշտիի ներկայությունը ես շատ եմ զգում, երևի սա է ինձ ուժ տալիս, որ ես ապրեմ, որդուս կորստի ցավի հետ մեկտեղ ապրելը շատ դաժան է»։

Արգիշտին Շիրակի մարզի Մեծ Մանթաշ գյուղից էր: Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան ռազմական համալսարանում ուսումն ավարտելուց հետո ծառայության էր մեկնել Արցախ՝ Թալիշ։ Ապրիլյան պատերազմի ժամանակ, զինվորների հետ միասին, կռվել է Թալիշի դիրքերում։ Մինչև ապրիլի 4-ն Արգիշտի Գաբոյանը պաշտպանել է Թալիշի իր դիրքը։ Իմանալով, որ գյումրեցի հրամանատար Հրաչ Գալստյանը զոհվել է, և մարմինը գտնվում է թշնամու կրակոցների տակ, գնում է հրամանատարին օգնության, զինվորներին հրամայում է, որ իր թիկունքը պահեն, ինքն առաջ նետվելով՝ փորձում է մարտի դաշտից դուրս բերել Հրաչ Գալստյանի դին, սակայն այդ ընթացքում զոհվում է հակառակորդի կրակահերթից։
