Այս զույգը ծանոթացել էր 1952 թվականին, ամուսնացել են սովորական զույգի պես, սակայն 62 տարի անց բժիշկները հայտնաբերեցին մի բան, որ ապշեցրեց բոլորին…
LIFEՍա մի գեղեցիկ սիրո պատմություն է: Էդա և Ֆլորեն Հեյլերը անմնացորդ սիրով սիրում էին իրար:
Նրանք հանդիպել էին 1952 թվականին Ֆլորենի ամուսնու հոգեհանգստին: Եվ հենց նույն օրվանից էլ սկիզբ առավ նրանց մեծ սերը:
Նրանց թոռնիկի խոսքերով նրանց կյանքը կինո էր հիշեցնում.
«Նրանք ամեն ինչ միասին էին անում իրարից անկախ, միասին էին հիվանդանում, նրանց մայրիկները նույն օրն են մահացել, նույն ուտեստներն էին սիրում, նույն գույնն էին նախընտրում, նրանք կարծես նույն անձը լինեին տարբեր մարմիններում»:
83 տարեկան հասակում Էդին տեղափոխեցին հիվանդանոց ոտքի վնասվածքով: Բժիշկները մտածում էին , որ նա շուտով հրաժեշտ կտա երկրային կյանքին: Նա խնդրեց իր մոտ բերել կնոջը, չիմանալով, որ նա գտնվում էր նույն հիվանդանոցում, որտեղ բուժվում էր սրտի նոպայից հետո:
Նույն պահին, երբ նա ոքի վնասվածք էր ստացել, կնոջ մոտ սրտի նոպա էր սկսվել և երկուսին էլ տեղափոխել էին նույն հիվանդանոց:
Նրանք նաև վերջին վայկյաններն իրար հետ անցկացրին և միասին տեղափոխվեցին այն աշխարհ:
Էդը և Ֆլորենը մահացան նույն օրը և նրանց հողին հանձնեցին նույնը օրը, Սուրբ Վալենտինի նախօրյակին: Նրանք այն բացառիկ զույգերից էին, որ աշխարհին ապացուցեցին, որ իսկապես գոյություն ունի անկեղծ սեր:
