Ապրիլյան պատերազմի 3–րդ տարելիցին ընդառաջ՝ Ազատության հրապարակում մի խումբ քաղաքացիներ այսօր՝ ապրիլի 1–ին, երեկոյան  19:00-ից մոմավառություն են իրականացրել Ազատության հրապարակում, ապա երթով շարժվել դեպի «Եռաբլուր»։

2016 թվականի ապրիլի 1-ի լույս 2-ի գիշերը ադրբեջանական կողմը Արցախի Հանրապետության նկատմամբ սկսեց լայնածավալ հարձակողական գործողություններ, կիրառելով իր զինանոցում եղած ռազմական տեխնիկայի գրեթե բոլոր հնարավոր տեսակները: Ապրիլի 2-5-ը մարտեր ընթացան շփման գծի ողջ երկայնքով, առավել թեժ մարտեր ընթացան ռազմաճակատի վերածված առաջնագծի հարավային (Հադրութ) եւ հյուսիսարեւելյան (Մարտակերտ) ուղղություններով։ Վերջնական տվյալներով` հայկական կողմից ռազմական գործողությունների հետեւանքով զոհվել է ավելի քան 100 մարդ եւ վիրավորվել 121 զինծառայող եւ կամավորական: Ինչ վերաբերում է Ադրբեջանի կորուստներին, այդ երկրի ՊՆ-ն շրջանառության մեջ դրեց 31 զոհի մասին կեղծ հաղորդագրությունը, նույն օրը ադրբեջանական «Мейдан ТВ» անկախ հեռուստաալիքը հանրության ուշադրությանը ներկայացրեց 93 զոհերի մասին հաստատող ցուցակը, իսկ «OSTKRAFT» վերլուծական կենտրոնը հրապարակեց տվյալ ըստ Ադրբեջանի ԶՈւ Գլխավոր շտաբի իր աղբյուրների տրամադրած փակ տեղեկատվության, որ զոհերը կազմել են շուրջ 800 մարդ: Քառօրյա ռազմական գործողությունների արդյունքում հակառակորդին հաջողվեց մարտագծի հարավային թեւում տիրել 1500մ լայնությամբ եւ 450մ խորությամբ բնագծի (67,5հա) կամ զբաղեցնել 6 մարտական դիրք, իսկ հյուսիսային ուղղությամբ՝վերահսկողության տակ առնել 4300մ լայնությամբ եւ 1000մ խորությամբ առաջնագիծ (430հա) կամ՝ 13 մարտական դիրք: Ընդհանուր առմամբ, չորսօրյա ինտենսիվ մարտերի ընթացքում ադրբեջանական բանակը գրավեց 19 դիրք, կամ մակերեսային միավորով արտահայտված շուրջ 500 հեկտար տարածք:
