novayagazeta.ru-ն «Թրամփի բարձունքներից» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի կողմից Գոլանի բարձունքները Իսրայելի մաս ճանաչելը անսպասելի չէր: Այսօր, իհարկե , Իսրայելի համար Գոլանի բարձունքների ռազմավարական նշանակությունը ոչ ոք հարցականի տակ չի դնում, բացի դա, այն արդեն 52 տարի Իսրայելի ձեռքում է: Սակայն հիշենք, որ Գոլանի բարձունքների օկուպացիայից անմիջապես հետո Իսրայելի ղեկավար Դեյվիդ Բեն Գուրիոնը առաջարկեց այն վերադարձնել արաբներին ՝ նրանց հետ լիարժեք խաղաղության պայմանագրի դիմաց: Այլ կերպ ասած՝ այդ հողերը նախապես դիտարկվում էին իսրայելցիների կողմից որպես «վերադարձվելիք»: Սակայն արաբական երկրները միաձայն հրաժարվեցին Բեն Գորիոնի առաջարկից՝ հռչակելով իրենց հայտնի «երեք ոչ»-ը. Իսրայելի հետ ոչ մի խաղաղություն, Իսրայելի հետ ոչ մի բանակցություն, Իսրայելը չճանաչել: Այսպիսով, «փոխանակման գրավը» դարձավ հրեական պետության համար երկարատև պաշտպանական ռեսուրս: Ժամանակի ընթացքում, ինչպես պարզվեց, նաև մեծացավ նրա նշանակությունը: Ներկայումս Թրամփը ընդամենը իրերն իրենց անունով կոչեց, չէ՞ որ ինչ-որ մեկը չի էլ կասկածում, որ Իսրայելը երբեք չի վերադարձնի Գոլանի բարձունքները արաբներին: Մեկ այլ հարց է այն, որ Վաշինգտոնի կողմից Գոլանի ճանաչումը ցանկացած ժամանակ կարող է աշխարհի ամենատարբեր անկյուններում արձագանք ունենալ: Մինչև հիմա ԱՄՆ-ը ճանաչել է միայն պետությունների կողմից առաջարկվող սահմանային փոփոխությունները կամ քաղաքացիական պատերազմների հետևանքով առաջացող նոր սահմանները: Գոլանի բարձունքները չեն մտնում այդ շարքը: Այժմ մենք ունենք նախադեպ, որը ստեղծվել է համաշխարհային առաջնորդի կողմից: Ներկայումս ցանկացած կառավարություն կարող է հայտարարել իր իրավունքի մասին այս կամ այն տարածքի նկատմամբ, որը նա կարևոր է համարում իր անվտանգության տեսակետից: Ահա թե ինչ է գրում այդ առիթով ամերիկյան Stratfor հետազոտական-վերլուծական կենտրոնը. «Այս գործոնները կխրախուսեն խոշոր և փոքր պետություններին՝ ռազմական ուժը դիտարկել որպես իրենց սահմանները ճշտելու հնարավոր միջոց՝ հիմնավորելով իրենց գործողությունները ռազմավարական նկատառումներով: Այն պետությունները, որոնք Ղրիմի ռուսական անեքսիայի սկզբունքային ընդդիմադիրներն էին, այժմ կարող են Մոսկվայի փաստարկները առավել հիմնավոր համարել»: Ի դեպ, նմանատիպ փաստարկները 1992 թվականից ներկայացվում են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի չճանաչված հանրապետության (ԼՂՀ) կողմից, որը գրավել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի մաս չկազմող յոթ ադրբեջանական շրջաններ: ԼՂՀ-ում և Հայաստանում այդ տարածքները կոչում են «անվտանգության գոտի», Ադրբեջանն ու ԵԽԽՎ-ն համարում են, որ դրանք օկուպացված են: ԱՄՆ-ում կա բավականին հզոր հայկական լոբբի, ինչո՞ւ Թրամփը չփորձի իր օգտին դարձնել հայկական ձայները առաջիկա ընտրություններում, այնպես, ինչպես իր օգտին դարձրեց ԱՄՆ-ի՝ ազգությամբ հրեա ընտրողների ձայները:
