Թաիլանդում վերջին 8 տարվա մեջ առաջին անգամ համընդհանուր ընտրություններ են անցկացվում
INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱյսօր Թաիլանդում սկսվել են 2011թ.-ից ի վեր առաջին խորհրդարանական ընտրությունները, գրում է The Guardian-ը:
Ընտրատեղամասերը բաց կլինեն տեղի ժամանակով մինչև 17:00-ն: Ընդհանուր առմամբ ձայնի իրավունք է ստացել 51,4 մլն քաղաքացի: Մրցապայքարում հիմնական հակառակորդները զինվորականների ու նախկին վարչապետ Տաքսին Չիննավատի կողմնակիցներն են: Վերջինիս իշխանությունը տապալվել է 2006թ.-ին, այժմ նա մեղադրվում է իշխանության չարաշահման համար և թաքնվում է երկրի սահմաններից դուրս:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Թաիլանդում ընտրական ցիկլը խախտվել էր 2014թ.-ի զինվորական հեղաշրջման ժամանակ, երբ զինվորականներն իշխանությունն իրենց ձեռքն էին վերցրել: Նրանք խոստացել էին ընտրություններ անցկացնել, սակայն դրանք մի քանի անգամ հետաձգվել էին:
Մրցապայքարում հիմնական հակառակորդները զինվորականների ու նախկին վարչապետ Տաքսին Չիննավատի կողմնակիցներն են: Վերջինիս իշխանությունը տապալվել է 2006թ.-ին, այժմ նա մեղադրվում է իշխանության չարաշահման համար և թաքնվում է երկրի սահմաններից դուրս:
Վարչաետի պաշտոնին հավակնում է 68 թեկնածու՝ 44 կուսակցությունից: Քվեարկության արդյունքում կընտրվի խորհրդարանի ներքին պալատի 500 պատգամավոր, մինչդեռ, նոր Սահմանադրության համաձայն, վերին պալատի 250 անդամները կնշանակվեն զինվորականների կողմից:
Խորհրդարանի երկու պալատները կընտրեն վարչապետին, որը հաղթանակի համար պետք է ստանա ձայների 50%-ից ավելին:
