Եվրամիության հետ վիզաների ազատականացման հարցում Հայաստանը գրեթե ոչ մի գլխացավանք չի ներկայացնում եվրոպական երկրների համար։ Այս մասին այսօր՝ մարտի 22-ին, լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Ավետ Ադոնցը։

«Վիզաների ազատականացման գործընթացը շարունակական գործընթաց է, վիզաները օրակարգային հարց է ոչ միայն Բրյուսելի հետ, այլ բոլոր 28 մայրաքաղաքների հետ, բոլորի հետ մենք խորհրդատվությունների գործընթացում ենք գտնվում։ Շատերի հետ համաձայն ենք, շատերի հետ համաձայն չենք, որովհետեւ վիզաներն ազատականացվել են ԵՄ մի շարք գործընկերների համար, ինչպես օրինակ՝ Վրաստանը, Ուկրաինան, եւ ԵՄ անդամ երկրներն այդքան էլ գոհ չեն այդ ազատականացման արդյունքներից, մենք դրա հետ իսկապես համաձայն չենք, եւ դամեզ համար որեւէ հիմք մեր աշխատանքում չի ծառայում եւ իրենց համար նույնպես»,–նշեց նա։

Հիշեցնենք, որ 2014 թվականից ՀՀ քաղաքացիների համար ազատականացվել էր ԵՄ կարճատեւ վիզաների տրամադրումը։ Վիզայի տուրքերը նվազեցրել էին 60-ից մինչեւ 35 եվրո, իսկ քաղաքացիների որոշակի խմբի համար (գիտնականներ, ուսանողներ, ստեղծագործական կոլեկտիվներ եւ այլն)` ընդհանրապես չեղյալ հայտարարվել։ ԵՄ քաղաքացիները 2013 թվականից Հայաստան են այցելում առանց վիզայի։ ՀՀ կառավարությունը արդեն մի քանի տարի է՝  բանակցում է ԵՄ–ի հետ դեպի եվրոպական երկրներ վիզաների ազատականացման համար։
