«Փաստ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի՝ Բրյուսել կատարած այցը սպասվածին հակառակ փոքր-ինչ միապաղաղ է անցել: Բանն այն է, որ եվրոպական քաղաքական վերնախավը պատրաստվում է մայիսյան ընտրություններին, բոլոր կուսակցություններն ու քաղաքական դեմքերն իրենց ուժերը գեներացրել են ընտրական գործընթացների նախապատրաստական աշխատանքներին: Մյուս կողմից՝ Եվրահանձնաժողովն ամփոփում է իր աշխատանքները, Եվրախորհրդի պառլամենտականները զբաղված են նախընտրական քարոզչությամբ: Այդ իսկ պատճառով, նույնիսկ իշխանական շրջանակներում կարծիք կա, որ Բրյուսել մեկնելու ամենապատեհ պահը չէր, առավել ևս, որ շատ լուրջ օրակարգ և փաստաթղթերի փաթեթներ հրատապ քննարկելու անհրաժեշտություն չկար: Ըստ տեղեկությունների, տեղում իրավիճակը փորձել է փրկել Զոհրաբ Մնացականյանը, ով 2013 թվականի եվրոասոցացման պայմանագրի նախապատրաստական փուլում էական դերակատարություն է ունեցել, եղել է հիմնական բանակցողը և որոշակի կապեր ունի: Անկարևոր չէ նշել, որ այցը կայացել է հայաստանյան կողմի նախաձեռնությամբ: Բայց եթե անցյալ տարվա հունիսյան այցը Բրյուսել իսկապես կարելի է բավականին հաջողված համարել՝ նաև հաշվի առնելով հեղափոխության «թարմությունը», ապա ինն ամիս անց որոշակի սառնություն և անհանգստություն կա եվրոպաշտոնյաների շրջանում: Իսկ անհանգստությունն այն է, որ ինչքան էլ Փաշինյանը գովում է ԵՄ-ՀՀ համաձայնագիրը, վերջինիս կյանքի կոչման ուղղությամբ էական քայլեր դեռևս չեն նշմարվում:
