Կենդանատեսակներ, որոնք եթե չվերանային՝ մարդը ողջ չէր լինի (լուսանկարներ)
LIFE
Այսօրվա դրությամբ մարդը գերիշխող գիշատիչն է մոլորակի վրա, որը, սակայն, հնարավոր է եղել միայն այն պատճառով, որ մեզնից առաջ մոլորակի վրա ապրող հսկա գիշատիչները վերացել են։
Fishki.net կայքը ներկայացնում է վերացած կենդանատեսակների ցանկ, որոնք եթե կենդանի լինեին, ապա վերացող տեսակ կդառնար մարդը։
Արգենտավիս 
Արգենտավիսը բնակվել է Արգենտինայում 5-8 մլն տարի առաջ։ Այն կշռել է 70 կգ, ունեցել է 1.26 մետր հասակ, իսկ թևերի բացվածքը հասել է 7 մետրի։ Այն թռել է 240 կմ/ժ արագությամբ։ Արգենտավիսի գանգն ունեցել է 45 սմ երկարություն։ Այս տվյալների հիման վրա Արգենտավիսը համարվում է գիտությանը հայտնի ամենամեծ թռչունը, որ երբևէ ապրել է մոլորակի վրա։
Դունկլեոստեուս
Դունկլեոստեուսը մոլորակի ամենահսկա «զրահապատ» ձուկն է եղել։ Դրա հսկա ժանիքները կարող էին փշրել գրեթե ամեն ինչ։ Այն ունեցել է 10 մետր երկարություն։ Այս տեսակի ձկները սնվել են գրեթե ամեն ինչով՝ շնաձկներով, նույնիսկ՝ իր տեսակի ձկներով։ Գիտնականները գտնում են, որ հենց դա է դարձել դրանց վերացման պատճառ, քանի որ դրանց ստամոքսը խնդիրներ է ունեցել կերած սնունդը մարսելու հետ։
Խեցգետին-կարիճ
Այս հսկա ծովային կենդանիները նման էին խեցգետնի և կարիճի խառնուրդի, որոնց մարմինները հասնում էին երկուսուկես մետր երկարության։
Էնդրյուսարխուս
Էնդրյուսարխուսները բնակվել են 45-36 մլն տարի առաջ Կենտրոնական Ասիայում։ Դրանք վերացած հսկա գիշատիչ կաթնասուններ են։ Ունեցել են 1.5 մետրանոց պոչ և 3.5 մետր ընդհանուր երկարություն։ Մեկ առանձնյակի քաշը կարող էր հասնել 1 տոննայի։
Քետցալկոատլուս
Այս կենդանիները չափազանց հսկա են եղել, դրանց թևերի բացվածքը հասել է 12 մետրի, իսկ բարձրությունը՝ 10 մետրի։ Գիտնականները գտնում են, որ դրանք բացի լավ թռչելուց նաև շատ ուժեղ են եղել։ Ցավոք, դրանց հետնորդները չեն կարողացել գոյատևել մոլորակի փոփոխվող կլիմայի պայմաններում։
Գիգանտոպիթեկուս 
Այս կապկանման հսկաները վերացել են 300.000 տարի առաջ։ Ունեցել են 550 կգ քաշ։
