Հայտնի է 2018 թվականին ավիավթարներում զոհվածների թիվը
SOCIETYԸստ Օդային տրանսպորտի միջազգային ասոցիացիայի (IATA)՝ 2018 թվականին ավիավթարների զոհերի թիվը զգալիորեն աճել է՝ ի տարբերություն նախորդ տարիների: IATA-ի վիճակագրությունը ներակայացնում է Independent պարբերականը:
2018 թվականին ավիապատահարների հետեւանքով զոհվել է 523 մարդ, մինչդեռ 2013-2017թթ. միջակայքում ավիավթարների զոհերի միջին տարեկան ցուցանիշը 234 մարդ էր: Իսկ, օրինակ, 2017 թվականին ավիավթարների հետեւանքով զոհվել է 19 մարդ, ինչը վերջին տասնամյակների ընթացքում ռեկորդային ցածր ցուցանիշ է:
Սակայն, չնայած ավիավթարներում զոհերի աճին, փորձագետները գտնում են, որ երկարաժամկետ հեռանկարում ավիափոխադրումները կդառնան ավելի անվտանգ: «Անցած տարի 46.1 մլն չվերթ է իրականացվել, որոնց արդյունքում 4.3 մլրդ ուղեւոր հաջողությամբ հասել է նպատակակետին: 2018 թվականն արտառոց չէր, իսկ 2017-ը տարբերվում էր: Տվյալները վկայում են, որ ապագայում թռիչքները կդառնան ավելի անվտանգ»,-ասել է IATA-ի գործադիր տնօրեն Ալեքսանդր դե Ժունիակը:
«Ինքնաթիռները շարունակում են համարվել հեռավոր ճանապարհորդությունների համար ամենաանվտանգ տրանսպորտը: Համաձայն վիճակագրության՝ նախքան ուղեւորը կզոհվի ավիավթարում, նա պետք է օգտվի այդ տրանսպորտից ամեն օր 241 տարվա ընթացքում»,-հավելել է նա, հաղորդում է Lenta-ն:
