Թե՛ «Փաստ» օրաթերթը, թե՛ այլ լրատվամիջոցներ ու փորձագետներ քանիցս անդրադարձել են Մարտի 1–ի գործի մանրամասներին և նշել, թե գործող իշխանություններն ինչ էնտուզիազմով են լծված այն իրենց քաղաքական նպատակներին ծառայեցնելու հարցին: Թերթի տեղեկություններով, մինչև մարտի 1–ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածը քննչական մարմիններին և իշխանություններին «սպասարկող» փաստաբաններին հանձնարարված է թեման «թեժ» պահել: Թերթի հավաստի աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, այս գործընթացում առանցքային դերակատարումը վստահված է փաստաբան Վահե Գրիգորյանին: Վարչապետի հատուկ հանձնարարականով, Գրիգորյանը տեղեկատվական դաշտում տարբեր ձևաչափերով թեզեր է տարածում՝ դեպքերը մատուցելով իշխանություններին հաճելի «սոուսով»: Ի դեպ, դեռ անցյալ տարվանից խոսակցություններ են շրջանառվում, որ վարչապետ Փաշինյանը հենց նրան է տեսնում Սահմանադրական դատարանի ապագա նախագահի պաշտոնում: Հոկտեմբերին մեկ անգամ փորձ արվեց նրան ՍԴ անդամ դարձնելու ուղղությամբ: Սակայն ԱԺ–ում փակ գաղտնի քվեարկությամբ Վահե Գրիգորյանը չընտրվեց: Սակայն օրենքը թույլ տալիս է «կրկին փորձել», ու չի բացառվում, որ առաջիկայում ևս մեկ անգամ ներկայացվի նրա թեկնածությունը, այս անգամ արդեն՝ նոր ԱԺ– ին, որտեղ «Իմ քայլը» մեծամասնություն ունի: Այնպես որ, մինչ այդ, ըստ տեղեկությունների, Գրիգորյանն ամբողջ թափով «կպել» է գործին՝ «շեֆի» սպասումներն արդարացնելու համար:
