Ջեքսոնին մանկապղծության համար մեղադրող ֆիլմի ռեժիսորն արձագանքել է երգչի ընտանիքի հայտարարությանը
INTERNATIONAL NEWSՓոփի արքա Մայքլ Ջեքսոնին մանկահասակների հանդեպ սեռական բռնության համար մեղադրող «Լքելով Նևերլենդը» փաստավավերագրական ֆիլմի ռեժիսոր Դեն Ռիդը մեկնաբանել է երգչի ընտանիքի հնչեցրած հայտարարությունը, որով Ջեքսոնի հարազատները մեղադրել են ռեժիսորին ճշմարտությունն աղավաղելու, երգչի հիշատակն անարգելու ու նրա անվան շնորհիվ հայտնիություն ձեռք բերելու փորձի համար:
Ինչպես գրում է The Hollywood Reporter-ը, Ռիդն ի պատասխան նշել է, որ «Լքելով Նևերլենդը» փաստավավերագրական ֆիլմ է, որը ցույց է տալիս «բարդ պատմություն»:
«Ֆիլմը պատմում է սեռական բռնության մասին, այն մասին, թե ինչպես է տեղի ունենում սեռական բռնությունը և ինչ հետևանքներ է ունենում հետագա կյանքի ընթացքում», - ասել է ռեժիսորը՝ շեշտելով, որ ֆիլմում Ջեքսոնի գործողությունները որևէ կերպ չեն մեկնաբանվում, և ֆիլմը նրա մասին չէ:
Ռիդն ընդգծել է, որ ֆիլմում ցուցադրված է երկու ընտանիք, որոնց կյանքի մաս է դարձել Ջեքսոնը:
Ռեժիսորը նաև հիշեցրել է, որ երգչի ընտանիքը շատ «թանկ ակտիվ» ունի և մինչ օրս գումարներ է ստանում արտիստի երգացանկին պատկանող ցանկացած երգի կատարման համար: Ըստ Ռիդի՝ ընտանիքն այժմ փորձում է պաշտպանել հենց այդ «ակտիվը»:
Դեն Ռիդի չորս ժամանոց ֆիլմում ներկայացված են Ջեյմս Սեյֆչաքի ու Ուեյդ Ռոբսոնի պատմությունները, համաձայն որոնց՝ տղաները 10 և, համապատասխանաբար, 7 տարեկանում ընկերացել են երգչի հետ, իսկ հետո դարձել նրա սեռական բռնության զոհերը:
Վավերագրական ֆիլմի շրջանակում ներկայացվել են սեռական բռնության զոհերի ծնողների, քույր-եղբայրների ու կանանց հետ հարցազրույցները, Ջեքսոնի՝ տղաներին ուղարկած նամակներն ու ֆաքսային հաղորդագրությունները:
