Մարկ Տվենը (իսկական անունը՝ Սեմյուել Լենգհոռն Կլեմենս (30.11.1835 – 21.04.1910 թթ.)) եղել է ամերիկացի գրող, լրագրող և հասարակական գործիչ: Նրա ստեղծագործությունն ընդգրկում է բազմաթիվ ժանրեր՝ հումոր, երգիծանք, փիլիսոփայական ֆանտաստիկա, հրապարակախոսություն և այլն, և բոլոր այդ ժանրերում նա անդավաճանորեն գրավում է հումանիստի և դեմոկրատի դիրք:
