Քրիստ Մանարյանը Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Տեսա հեռուստատեսային ռեպորտաժն ու հարց եմ տալիս ինքս ինձ և բոլորին՝ ի՞նչ կարիք կա Գյումրիում կամ մյուս, ծերը ծերին մի կերպ հասցնող քաղաքներում պահել Կենդանաբանական Այգի, եթե կենդանիներն էդպես ողբալի ու նվաստացած վիճակում են՝ աղբանոցից հանած հոտած կեր են ուտում, ոռնում են գիշերներով հազարումի ցավից, փորձում են փախչել գլուխներն ազատելու համար…: Երևանից էլ առաջարկել են նրանց քնեցնել, ավելի խելոք բան մերոնց ուղեղներն ի զորու չեն ՙարտադրել՚: Մարդն ի վերջո ընտրություն ունի, կարող ա թքել, գլուխն առնել ու գնալ: Կենդանին ու՞ր գնա, եթե ուրիշ կենդանիներ նրան փակել են վանդակում:
Ես ընդհանրապես գազանանոցներին դեմ եմ՝ տղա եք, գնացեք սաֆարի ու դիտեք հպարտ ու արդար արարածներին ազատության մեջ, իրենց բնական միջավայրում: Նույնն էլ կրկեսում՝ ստիպել առյուծներին ու վագրերին անհեթեթ բաներով զբաղվել, թռչել օղակների միջով, թաթը վեր բարձրացնել ու էլի նման ապուշություններ՝ ՙարարչագործության պսակ՚-ի հիվանդագին երևակայությամբ մտահաղացված: 
Էղել եմ Ֆրանկֆուրտի գազանանոցում՝ էնտեղի պայմաններին ուզածդ մարդ կնախանձեր, կենդանիներից շատերը հսկայական տերիտորիաներ ունեին, ոնց որ ազատության մեջ ապրեին, ես ձեռքով կերակրել եմ էնտեղ ռնգեղջյուրին: 
Էդ ի՞նչ նոր ցավ ա գեղցի օլիգարխիկների մոտ՝ մարդկանց նվաստացնելուց հետո մի հատ էլ մեր անլեզու եղբայրներին ստորացնել՝ պահել սեփական կենդանաբանական այգիներ, հայտնի չի ինչ պայմաններում: Սաղ պարերը պարել էին, մնացել էր գազանանոցը:
Հիշում եմ՝ Երևանի կենտրոնում, Կամոյի դպրոցի մոտ վանդակներում նստած աղվեսներ էին վաճառում՝ ի՞նչ գործ ունի աղվեսը Երևանում, կամ առնողն ի՞նչ ա անելու էդ կենդանուն:
Ամենից առաջ էս ամենով հենց մարդուն ենք խայտառակում: 
Շարունակենք ապացուցել, որ աստված թարս ոտքից ա զարթնել մեզ ստեղծելիս՝ այլապես էսքան անկատար ու ողորմելի չէինք լինի՝ հանդուրժելով մեր միջի երկոտանիների անասնական կեցվածքն ու ձև անելով, որ էս ամենը մեզ չի վերաբերում:
