INTERNATIONAL NEWSԹուրքիայի դատախազությունը մեղադրական եզրակացություն է նախապատրաստել ԱՄՆ-ի հյուպատոսության տեղական աշխատակցի դեմ, որը ձերբակալվել էր իսլամական քարոզիչ Ֆեթուլա Գյուլենի շարժման հետ կապեր ունենալու մեղադրանքով, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը՝ հղում կատարելով DHA գործակալությանը:
2017 թվականին հյուպատոսության աշխատակից Մեթին Թոփուզի կալանքը ավելացրել էր լարվածությունը Միացյալ Նահանգների եւ Թուրքիայի հարաբերություններում եւ հանգեցրել վիզաների տրամադրման երկկողմանի ծառայությունների դադարեցմանը մի քանի ամսով:
Թոփուզը բանտում է ամերիկյան հյուպատոսության երկու այլ աշխատակիցների հետ միասին, ինչպես նաեւ Turkish-U.S. ազգային եւ ՆԱՍԱ-ի նախկին գիտնականը, որը մեղադրվում է ահաբեկչության մեջ: Վաշինգտոնն ուզում է, որ նրանք բոլորն ազատ արձակվեն:
