Հունվարի 13-ին, ժամը 14-ի սահմաններում, ոստիկանություն զանգահարած քաղաքացին հայտնեց, որ Վաղարշյան 1 հասցեի բակում մի մեքենայից կրակել են մարդկանց ուղղությամբ:

Ոստիկանության Արաբկիրի բաժնի օպերատիվ խումբը նշված վայրում իրականացրեց անհրաժեշտ գործողությունները տեղի ունեցածի բոլոր հանգամանքները պարզելու ուղղությամբ:

Ի դեպ, մինչ ոստիկանները բերման էին ենթարկում կասկածյալներին, Երեւանի հիվանդանոցներից մեկից ոստիկանության Արաբկիրի բաժնում հնչեց ահազանգ, որ իրենց մոտ բուժօգնության է դիմել 18-ամյա Արամ Սարգսյանը, որը, հետո պարզվեց, մարմնական վնասվածքներ էր ստացել Վաղարշյան 1 հասցեի բակում՝ ծեծկռտուքի ժամանակ:

Ոստիկանությունում պարզվեց, որ բերման ենթարկված բոլոր տղամարդիկ նույն բակի բնակիչներ են, իսկ վիճաբանությունը ծագել է մեքենան կայանելու հարցի շուրջ:

Վիճաբանությունը վերածվել է ծեծկռտուքի, ինչի ժամանակ էլ Արթուր Սարգսյանը իր գազային ատրճանակով կրակոցներ է արձակել, Դավիթ Բրուտյանը՝ դանակով, Սպարտակ Սարգսյանը մուրճով, իսկ մյուս մասնակիցները ձեռքերով ու ոտքերով մարմնական վնասվածքներ են պատճառել միմյանց:

Դեպքի վայրի զննությամբ հայտնաբերվեց ու վերցվեց 2 պարկուճ:

Արթուր Սարգսյանը ներկայացրել է գազային ատրճանակը, Դավիթ Բրուտյանը՝ դանակը, իսկ Սպարտակ Սարգսյանը՝ մուրճը:

Նշանակվել են փորձաքննություններ:

Փաստի առթիվ հարուցվել է քրեական գործ՝ խուլիգանության հատկանիշներով:
