«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Այսօր տեղի կունենա Զոհրաբ Մնացականյան-Էլմար Մամեդյարով հանդիպումը, որը կնախապատրաստի Փաշինյան-Ալիեւ առաջիկա հանդիպումը: «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքի՝ նախորդ ուրբաթ ԱԺ դահլիճում տեղի ունեցած առաջին հանդիպման ժամանակ, որին մասնակցել է նաեւ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, առյուծի բաժինը նվիրված է եղել ղարաբաղյան հիմնախնդրին:

Փաշինյանը խիստ հանգամանալից անդրադարձել է հարցին, պատասխանել ֆրակցիայի պատգամավորների հարցերին, ինֆորմացիա տվել «առկա» իրավիճակի մասին, որ պատգամավորները նախ  ծանոթանան իշխանությունների մոտեցումներին եւ ապա` տեղյակ լինեն, թե ինչ դիրքերից են պատասխանելու լրագրողների` այդ առնչությամբ իրենց ուղղված հարցերին: Պատգամավորները 1 տասնյակից ավելի հարցեր են հնչեցրել. «Մենք էլ մեր հերթին էինք ցանկանում հասկանալ խնդրի էությունը, տիրապետել անհրաժեշտ նրբություններին»:

Փաշինյանն անդրադարձել է հիմնական դրույթներին, ասել է, որ, ըստ էության, այս պահին հարցի լուծում չկա, այդ լուծումն ինքը եւս դեռ չի տեսնում այն պարզ պատճառով, որ ասպարեզում առկա մոտեցումները վերջնականապես հստակեցված չեն։ «Լավրովյան պլանով ասվում է, որ պետք է 5 շրջանները վերադարձվեն Ադրբեջանին, հետո կերեւա։

Ինչի՞ դիմաց, հարցնում ենք իրենց՝ չեն ասում, մենք պահանջում ենք` թող առաջինը Ադրբեջանն ասի` համաձայն է զիջումների, մենք էլ անենք մեր քայլը, մեզ ասում են` Ադրբեջանին իրենց երկրի ներսում կասեն դավաճան։ Մենք էլ իրենց ասում ենք` ինչ է, մե՞նք պետք է դառնանք դավաճան։ Բանակցությունները շարունակվում են, մնացածը կերեւա ընթացքում»,- մոտավորապես այսպես է ասել Փաշինյանը»:
